Yeah if you call 11's faster then my car, only one that runs 10's that might have shown up was going to be coming on a trailer and I know that because I know the person. But he already said he isn't going to take his car because he doesn't have a cage yet.
Sorry this is the CA not some hick town in NJ, people here dont exactly drive their 10 second cars to the race events. The honda civic I lost to at the last event was trailered along with most of the cars in that T4 class.

Awww look the S4 guys group up. Let me know when Deb gets up off his knees because he has been doing nothing but posting up all day about his boyfriends great driving skills. LOL
BTW who cares how a car gets to the track, its what it does at the track that counts.

Nice run. Cant wait to get a set of those tires.
Ok, but this isn't exactly the only thread Deb starts talking shit and nut hanging on marc again. Seems the 2 of them think how the car gets to the track is so important. Maybe he should ask Marc how many tracks he has been kicked out of.

yeah those tires are nice if you dont have them already you are giving up a lot of et! definately look into those, leave at 20psi and hope your drivetrain holds up.

Yeah. Last trip to the track I had nothing but traction issues in 1st gear with the BFG drag radials, even on one run I was able to haze the tires in 2nd. I run my DR's at around 20 lbs.

with as much power as you make bfg's are no good, when i had my S i had bfgs that i would spin on the jug and iam not making nowhere near what you make, (granted i was on the street) to me bfgs are for the street.
Get some hoosiers, M/T or M&H wrinkle wall slicks (if they fit) and you can leave on more boost and drop those et's! the wrinkle walls should be more friendly to your drivetrain.

Yeah I just started having problems with the BFG's holding, wasn't a problem with my damaged turbo and a bit less hp. Problem is finding the right wheel and tire combo, will most likely drop down to some 16" OZ's and 26" hoosiers. I just haven't seen anyone else run 26" Hoosiers on the A4/S4, so I need to test fit it before I buy a whole set.

Do you have pictures and what size?
Is this the car you are talking about?
Those are hoosiers but completely different type and those are on a 17" with 245 hoosiers. The quick time pro's are going to be a bit taller.
Here are 26" quick time pro's on a friends EVO8, these are 15" wheels though.

No thats not his car. He ran them on 16" clk 320 wheels. Depending on the offset of the wheels they would rub up front. But you have A4 brakes up front, so you won't have to run spacers to fit a small wheel, the way he did. But I would be worried about hitting the uprights.
And I do not know what size Hoosiers he was running. But I doubt they were 26". I am sure he would love to chime in, but he is banned from AZ.

Was it a set of Hoosier drag radials? If so then he was running 225/50/16's which are 24.9" tall.
yeah thats what I am afraid of, that they might hit the uprights or maybe even rub the fender when the rear of the car squats hard during a launch.

There are quite a few NASTY Evos here in Florida that drive around on the streets (not just trailered to the track to run). Several in Orlando (2 hours south of me). This guy owns a pizza shop there. It is built/tuned by the shop Central Florida Turbo where I get my car dynoed.
His old setup from a few years ago
Measly 20psi tune on his new GT42r setup. Racecar on the street now. The car is full weight too and runs low 9s.
click me
Here they are at the track one night in orlando with the new setup (stupid fast)
track pases
Another car
power
And another wowzers
Same car clicky
O yeah, they will hook up your turbo jet ski too getting it!
Or if you are bored and want to see some other stuff they do at Central Florida Turbo

rob has hoosiers, stock s4 calipers and lowered. hes got just enough clearance on the calipers where it scrapes the paint off of them. btw they are for sale. they are not slicks, they are DOT approved radials

Yeah those are the Hoosier Drag radials, not nearly as tall or sticky like the Hoosier Quick Time Pro's.
Looking to put them on a set of these if it works out.

I think I know who you are talking about but neither is persian. They both roll together. The C5Z is (at least was last year) N/A and the C6Z was stock. I know the C5Z runs tens but runs out of steam up top (it has gearing). I dunno how much power they make. I met them at seneca last year, pretty cool

cool? really? they seam like typical vette owners to me (douches) guess i just have to meet em
but thats pretty interesting about running out of steam up top, they usually if anything mph pretty well! hmmm...well next time u see them tell em whats up, may be able to do a friendly run.

Thats Procco's evo. He delivers pizza in it sometimes haha. Car is nasty.
We also have the highest hp stock bottom end evo here. Mr. JDM's pt 62/62 evo, i forget the numbers it put down.
Most of us drive to the track down here in FL because we dont have the strict emissions laws they do in Cali. I know plenty of 9-11 sec cars that daily drive here.

They do come off as dbags but once I got to know them they seemed to chill a bit. Maybe "pretty cool" was not the wording I should have used lol When I say run out of steam up top I mean 125+, he has short gearing. Alright, I will let him know when I see him. He is usually down for friendly runs
