The car was tuned to push the limits of 25psi on 100 octane and I was there while Alfred tuned the car. We already know at the same boost level 100 octane is going to make more power then 93 octane when both cars are running the same size turbo, boost level and rpms. The smaller displacement motor is just better for higher revs, but seeing that you didn't post the full dyno plot its not like we can compare rpms.
BTW the tune that was used was the tune on the car that Tom(smogrunner) used every day as his daily driver to work, the car was not "tuned" for the track seeing that they were not asked to join the event till 60 minutes before the deadline to show up. So the car was actually unprepped for the event. I am sure if the car was tuned for the event it would have been running way more boost then 25psi on a HTA3582r that we all know can push 40+psi without a problem. I know this because Tom is a friend of mine which happens to live on my block, I also know the people at Tuning Technologies and I just happen to be the person that was asked to do the driving in the drag event taking 1st place in that event vs the AMS EVO X entry with Eric driving it.
