the way the exhaust "swirls" when it exits the turbine....it actually is kinda efficient....ray has a better explanation i'm sure.

Sorry I havent posted in a while.. for those who are interested, the project is just about wrapped up.. The last few parts should be here around the end of the month, and hopefully I should be back on the road by mid-November.. q_dubz pretty much hit it on the head about how the exhaust "swirls" as it exits the turbine. I'm pretty confident that our design will perform well.. otherwise I'll just run it straight up through the hood!

I seen this car sitting in the shop a couple months ago when I stopped in to pick up Clints old exhaust and downpipe.

I have a question about the IC piping though. its not all V Band, is it? Where does it flex?

quick update.. standalone and wiring harness have arrived.. should be going in the car in a couple weeks or so.. just in time to spend all winter tuning

Thanks! I'm pretty excited myself lol, shes been down for just over two years and now the end is finally in sight. I'm not looking to break any records or anything but I just want to make more power than what I had before. Im sure the thread will be updated more often once we get started tuning..

Man, so excited, I just gave this morning a deposit to Markku at Agtronic.

Hes building me a one off (up to my specs) with the addition of his knowledge:

Custom one off top mount twin scroll, twin wastegate turbo manifold.

Custom twin Hybrid exhaust, 3 inch and 4 inch

Custom Precision race front mount

Custom Aluminium intake manifold

Custom 90mm TB (corvette lS6)

Might have time for a cage !

The main reason is that I'm beginning to lose my passion for it (amongst other things).. and rather than keeping it and resenting myself later on, I'd rather let it go to another enthusiast who has the time to truly enjoy it. I hate to see it go, but I need it gone.
