But as far as the front bumper, this is what i was talking about...
It has those 2 side vents on it. And yes i'm aware that ^^ is a CL not a CLS, but i have an article from motortrend pinned on my door with the CLS63 and it has the same front bumper. I just can't find any pics on google of it.
As mentioned above, the CLS63 was a direct replacement in 07 for the CLS55, so pricing is similar to the 55. All the 63s (E, CL, SL, etc.) are replacements for the 55s, and are in no way comparable to the outrageously priced 65s.
PS: the 65 is only offered on the 3 'flagship' models, the S, SL and CL.
I guess where i went wrong was assuming the price jump. Why is the SL and the S so ridiculously expensive compared to other models? Cause even the SL600 is $139k and the SL63 AMG is $135k. Significantly more than comparable models. And the S600 is what $147k?
That's pretty much the only reason i thought the CLS would be so expensive, there's not much difference between the models besides the .5 liters of displacement. All of them have crazy luxury interiors and everything. So what gives?

There are many differences between the higher-end models and the others...
But $40-$50k more expensive at minimum for different leather and seats? The suspension i can see, but still, that much more? Seems like a rip off to me. Which one has the seats with air bladders in them that help center the driver? The S600?

Any one of them can be optioned with the "Drive Dynamic Seats" option.
I meant softer leather and much more of it.
I'm not sure if you've seen these cars up close, but a CLS and S-Class are two totally different sized beasts.

I've been in an S-Class, an SL, and i sat in the dealer owner's CL with pretty much custom everything. He said it cost him somewhere around 300k total for the car and for everything he had done. It was really sick and had a red/black theme to everything. But i've seen CLS's all over edmonds where i live. Never been in one, but i've seen interior pics. They look super nice inside.
CLS 55 AMG. there is no production CLS 65 AMG, the v12 bi-turbo is only availbe in SL,S, and CL. The front cooler you see is the oil cooler, there is like 5 coolers stacked in front of that car, that is not modded or aftermarket that cooler is stock, he just removed the mesh out the bumper so you could see it. and its freakin lakewood, dude probably couldnt make his payments so burned it to the ground or was slanging and got his shit set on fire, oh well insurance will pay for it.
