Thought this was kinda funny. Someone had asked for a larger version of my avatar so I went searching and ran across this picture. The guy front and center is Lt Lightfoot, apparantely he has now passed RIP, but the funny thing is that the picture was taken in Germany and I am the guy with the M4 to the left (as you're looking at the picture). This seems like a lifetime ago, anyways just thought I would update this thread with a face pic, lol

It's sea dye. We carry it in our survival vests. If we end up in the water, we pull it out of our vest and dunk it in the ocean. It makes a big green spot so search aircraft can find us.
I do fly as an aircrewman in 60's. We're currently flying the MH-60R, but most of my time is in the SH-60B. Since I will be deploying next year, there is a small possibility that I will hit 5K before I retire. It's not likely, but it is possible.
