heh. no launch and you guys are guessing times that low on a turbo car? im gonna say 12.8@ 117
Well not exactly "NO launch", but not hard to pull below 2.0. It isn't very hard to roll the car out soft to get a 2.0, I have done it in my car and it has way more lag.

After we spoke, my wife asked me who that was and I told her someone finally broke 400 AWHP on a B6 and her response was "What did it run the 1/4" *lol*.

I have bogged my car when I had the gtrs and then got going and ran like 13.5 instead of 13.1 like I was doing in previous runs and this is with far less power (around 300whp when I was running 20psi). You think by pulling a low 2 second 60ft instead of say 1.7 the car is gonna run damn near a 13. Sorry you are crazy. And Chris already trapped 114 at the track with a smaller turbo, unported head making far less power on the revo gtrs software running 24.5psi. If the car truely makes 450whp give or take a few when it spins to 8k and has the intake installed (also dont forget open dump). The car should definitely run 120+

Umm, GT3076 isn't a GTRS. Wasn't sure if you are aware of that. Thus, it'll take longer to spool up, and waste more time in the ET.
Besides, I'm not the one spouting off about running an 11.4 on a B6, when very few B5s have ran such. If you ask me, you seem to be the crazy one here. I'm sure when Mike reports back, we'll find out who needs the asylum.
Btw, you're not the only one here thats taken their car to the drag strip David. I ran my B6 BT setup several times and well aware of what 60ft times did to overall ET.
The car is making 200wtq by a little after 3500rpms, its spooling very quickly for a 30R imo

Not saying it isn't Jake. I love the 3076. I was asking David about Revo making software for my car years ago to run it. I guess it just depends on how Mike semi-launches it. We'll see. Personally I wish he'd just go balls out on one run. At the power levels it's at, it should break 11's which will be awesome.

I have a ported AMB head. It wasn't done professionally, but by me. Really it's deeply gasket matched to big port specs with some extra cleaning up. I think a QED CNC head would easily add 50+AWHP to my set-up.

My gtrs had 24psi at like 4100-4200rpm that isnt shit of a difference between the 3076. With how my car currently is with the revo gtrs software on my 2.0 with Schrick 252/260 cams I hit 24psi at 4500rpm and that is running with a 3" maf. They said they picked up 2-300rpm by removing the maf.
And yes lots of people have taken cars to the track, but only some know how to drive them, like when I ran 12.1 in my buddies bone stock b5 with 3071r running the pump program with 1 gallon of race gas added to the 4 gallons of 93

WTF Chris! I didn't say that shit. Don't be putting David's words in my mouth....
This thread has really perked my interest. Figured it was about damn time someone broke the 400whp barrier. Just wish it was a balls out run at the track to back it up.
Me too..... And also curious of how close to 93 octane the fuel is in the car. How was it done, by taking a guess of how much 91 was in there then adding a few gallons of 100? Just hope when 93 is actually put in the car that it doesnt start pulling timing and making less power.
That doesn't sound like a very professional method to me! Guessing on stuff like that usually results in blown motors, something we're not known for
The fuel was accurately mixed using a combination of 100 and 91 octane and put in the tank after the tank had been pumped out.

Heh. Ok, we'll see. Just like you were going to run an 11 by the feel of you "butt dyno". We both know that hasn't happened. Even with the trusty G-tech. Either way, you may want to consider a career change to Drag race driver, as you are in such an elite group.
P.S. Your car must have AIDS because I made 24 PSI on a gt71r before that at altitude. No wonder your time didn't change much.

Well in that case then this should be nicely repeatable power then when Jake's father gets the car and I feel pretty confident with a 450whp car on 93 when you guys are done with it.

Guess you havent been paying to much attention......
1. I said run 11s on RACE GAS at 30psi.
2. Yeah I would consider myself as a pretty good driver seeing that few have been able to run times like I have (other than Mike driving other peoples cars). Hell I drove my friends car for the first time ever going down the track and ran 12.1 on my 5th time down the track when he didnt even break into the 12s.
3. I cant run over 24psi since I have the old ass gtrs file and 630cc injectors which go to 100% duty cycle above 24psi and then 034 just backed this up saying they started to lean out with the 630s hitting full duty cycle.
4. Refering to your Gtech comment, I ran a 12.5 with a shitty 1.8 60ft on the street when I have pulled plenty of low 1.7s and even 1.6s (1.66 best with the gtrs). So that run becomes 12.3 with a 1.7 60ft.
I dont know what else to tell you. O yeah and I cant even run my head to 8000 since they took away the revo 8500rpm file which I had planned on using.
I know my car with the subpar tuning I have for my current setup will run low 12s right now if I could spin 8000rpm even only running 24psi still. Making I will say a safe 50whp less than what Jake's Dads car will have. This car will easily be a 11 second car.

All I know is I will probably be giving 034 a call soon since Revo hasnt done shit for us guys going above the gtrs (except whatever Dave has going on now) But I havent heard anything from him.
So I am not scared to jump ship and get my car running how it should be finally.

Unfortunately I am not a tuner and neither are you so we have kinda been at the mercy of others to wait for a tuning solution. Now we appear to have one that is worth something. It will still be interesting to see what this new Revo stuff does that Dave has been messing with but the only problem is he is running it on eliminator turbos so it will be hard to compare until Charlie's car is up and running but then that will be at 5,000ft. And I think that 450 is gonna be very doable by getting a bigger intake manifold and bigger throttle body on there. Atleast 440 which I would love to have.
are u serious? weve had tuning around for awhile, but no one wants to step up and try it...
Tapp
ASP
Uni
are 3 good options... No one has wanted to throw the right parts together and actually get a tune. Everyone just runs the Revo junk
No offense to anyone but Doug's custom tuned ASP BT 2 liter with cams in my opinion is far from impressive. He is happy with it so that is all that matters but I would be far from happy, and I mean far.......

fair enough... his turbo choice is weak for power as well as his cams though... those 2 make a ton of power
Yes but his turbo is still bigger than a gtrs, his cams more aggresive than stock and 2 liter over 1.8 and the car was "custom tuned" at the tuners shop. I would expect more than 333whp on 109 octane. I made 321whp on 100 octane with a bone stock 1.8 and gtrs and greg made 323whp on 109 on bone stock 1.8 and 71r eliminator and now 366whp on 109. Like I said, I would be far from happy.

This thread has finally piqued my interest - cost for it on a B6 tiptronic? or else i'm going to go buy an A5/S5 :( but since the b6 was my first car - im attached to it until it blows up (motor, something goes kablooey) ... at which pt i'll let someone ram it on the freeway for insurance money
Now: RNS-E | Debadged | GIAC 1+
Soon: Caractere front and sides | S4 Rear | S4 Doorblades | Bi-Xenon E-Codes
Future: GTRS BT Kit | Tip Tranny upgrade for BT Kit

If you have even a prayer of running this kind of power on your automatic you will need to spend several thousand on building just your transmission.
And it'll eat a ton of the power

I hope they do a just manifold dyno, no other changes.
I am sure they will on the first pull seeing that you cant make tuning changes without seeing how the car reacts to the new part. But the only way to take full advantage of the new IM will mean retuning the car for the higher flow.
