is there an audi PN for the 044 pump? or what is the full bosch number? Is it a straight replacement or are more parts (pickup, check valve?) necessary?

Any idea how tough it is to scale injectors for certain tunes/ecu's?
I ran the 60's, and that definetly won't support the new setup. I have been told to go with 85lbs guys, but I know Guru man was nearly maxing those out on his setup. So I am hesitant to pull the trigger on a the new injectors...

Well since you are going custom, you can scale easily. Some MK4 guys do it to get around buying BT software (stupid imo), and they play with MAF and injector size to scale close to stock. You don't even have to do that

Well I'd rather have the overhead and run 60-70 percent IDC as opposed to running the smaller injectors and having 100 percent duty cycle.

Well if 4 1000's can support 600awhp-ish, then 6 can support more than you could dream of Derek

Quite a bit of markup you guys have there. (I bought mine from this ebay seller, no issues at all) I don't mean to bust balls, but in these trying times, we're all poor here =).

My pump has all the proper stamps, and comes in the right box. And actually only chinese walbro's have appeared on the market and not 044's. Thats as net of a price as you're going to find.

I'm sure anyone buying a pump doesn't think its a knock off . But, that's great, and good for you You'd be amazed at how good knock offs can be and how many slip out the back door of a manufacturing plants. Unfortunately, we don't deal in, grey market parts, or knock offs of any sort. Anything we buy is through authorized dealers and distribution channels, not ebay vendors.
craptacular. It hasnt been a problem, but i want to put a small odessy battery in.
anyways. skip the walboro and go right to the 044 fellas.
quieter, and makes the walboro flow numbers look like a turn of the century handpump.
I paid almost 500 shipped for mine. Thats a stupid low price.
while true its not needed for a oem turbo setup on the 2.7
its loud as shit too, i dont know how/why you say its quieter..
the wahlbro 255 in an inline setup supplies plenty of pressure on the rail for even an aggressive k04 (rs6) setup

yes.
its a pushing pump put into a pulling pump's place.... :-/
