    Hey,

Impressive numbers. I am looking to do a Project on my 04 ultrasport. I have the APR exhaust, I also have sitting around a Biagio .50 A\R turbo and a cast hiflow manifold from a vendor I cant remember with a T25 flange.

I want to run without the MAF. I had this setup on my 99 Passat. It ran great I had a www.fueltech.com standalone which is still in my possesion. LOVE the sound of the turbo during spool up with no filter. Like a 747 taking off. Plus the open BOV is great for making small animals and people jump on polls as I drive by and blow off.

Anyway since the A4 is pretty similar what would you suggest I change? Should I use the 034 motorsport cable gas pedal and TB? I think I still have the intake and TB from the passat. Will that work? I didnt want to run forged right away although I do have the parts from the other car. Let me know what your feed back is.

    Tks,

    JP

Wrong thread, this is about Ultrasports... Here goes

    A. Good work on having the standalone, IMO its the way to go when really doing an intense setup.
    B. I would get the 034 gas pedal setup with the cable.

If your running MAFless you shouldnt need an intake? Leave the intake manifold for now, you can make power without it, and the TBs are the same

I would do rods at a minimum for the future, but I don't know what kind of power that turbo puts down so I can't tell you for sure, but anything over ~320whp you need rods

FX600/700 is a 7.25" while the 850 series is 8.5". The S4 2.7 guys have already been using the 8.5" for a while.

When it comes to making big power, Clutch Masters has the solution to get that power to the ground with the least compromise to drivability. Their new 8.5 in. “850 Series” twin disc units are rated at a range of 600 -1200 hp, and with the option of two different friction disc combinations, the units will fill the needs of a daily driver to the most extreme racer!

Features include a billet aluminum cover, heat-treated diaphragm spring, billet aluminum flywheel complete with a replaceable steel friction insert. Kit includes the throw out bearing along with all the necessary hardware for an easy bolt up installation. All components are interchangeable, making it easy and affordable to maintain and extend the life of the unit.
I dropped off one of my spare 01a transmissons for them to use for measurements and test fitting since they are only 40 minutes from my house.

How far from reality is this? Does it require someone or an authorized dealer to push the envelope with APR? And does anyone know if this may be work in progress? When I contact APR I just hear NOPE.
