Hello and welcome to the Audizine Newsletter for November 2008. As per usual we've got a monthly wrap-up of the latest and greatest in Industry & Motorsport News from the past month, as well as our current Featured AZ'er. We also give our shout-out to the new and returning companies in our fabulous family of Official Audizine Advertisers.

New to this month's Newsletter though, we have an open call for photographs for an official 2009 Audizine Calendar! Read onto the next post for complete details on what we're looking for and how you can participate in this unprecedented event.

• Call for Entries - AZ 2009 Calendar!?

Due to the outcome in voting for an official Audizine Calendar in this month's Audizine Poll, we're opening up the gates for photo submissions.

So, if you have some photos that you took of your Audi...or your friend's Audi...or any number of Audis, then we'd love to see 'em. There are some rules and requirements though, so read on.

• The photo must have been taken by you
• If the photo includes vehicles which don't belong to you, please get the permission of those owners
• The original file must be hi-res (print quality), approximately 11" wide and 8" tall at 300dpi
• If chosen, you will be required to provide all rights of use to Audizine

If your photo(s) meet these requirements then please upload them to your Audizine Gallery and send us an email with your username and the links to the images. Or, if you have low-res versions of the images then you can also email them directly to us, again providing your Audizine username. Please send the entry emails to: entries@audizine.com

Due to time constraints we'll need all entries by midnight Monday December 1st. If we receive enough quality entries by the deadline, then we will proceed with the production of the calendar and the chosen entries will be notified.

November '08 Featured AZ'er: Billi's 2004 A4 sedan

Yes you read the title right. It's not a misprint. Looking at the photos, you may assume that's an RS 4. I mean certainly the year of the car couldn't be right, as that would make it a B6 and that sure looks like a B7. Now unless you've been following the original build thread, you'd still be quite confused. You'd probably be thinking to yourself that if this was in fact a B6 A4 that's been converted into what looks to be a B7 RS 4, why would anyone go through all that trouble? Well aside from the obvious answer, that it just looks so damn badass, you have to also understand a thing or two about the price of cars and of fuel in Norway (where this month's Featured AZ'er resides). You'd also have to factor in one more variable as to why someone would do all that work...because they can! More

Audi successfully defends DTM title

The most extensive motorsport program in the history of AUDI AG is now the most successful one as well: following the triumph at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the title wins at the Le Mans series in North America and Europe, Timo Scheider with a victory at the finale at Hockenheim also secured the title in the DTM. This means that, for the first time since 1990/1991, Audi successfully defended the title in the most popular international touring car racing series. In addition, with eight pole positions and six victories, the new Audi A4 DTM in its debut year was the most successful car of the season and superior to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. More
