Clint i'm doing fine, been so busy doing physical therapy - how's everything with you? If I was in any other car in this situation i would have been dealt a crippling blow. I now swear by audi in the sense they sure are built like tanks, and mercedes is just as good if not even better - that's why i got into one.

No openings, unless you enjoy or have the potential to enjoy getting hit by a drunk driver head on... Pcar = more or less going to be a lot of my savings i've earned over the past... it'll most likely make me become brokeee as shizzzzz when purchased!!! but hell it'll be worth it!

I'm really sorry to hear about the car, I was watching this thread for awhile. I hope your recovery goes smoothly. Did you get the mercedes and soon the P car due to suing him or something? That guy had better be paying for something after that shit.

Anyways, I know the car is no more, but I thought I'd clarify why the "small" injectors.
They are definitely not huge injectors, but it is 6 cylinders instead of 4.
400cc injectors in a 1.8t is 1600cc all together. 270 cc injectors in 6 cylinders is 1620cc's total. So they really aren't super small like they would be in a 4 cylinder motor.

1.8t guys are running 3.8 bar fuel pressure, and hes running only 3, so yes they are small.

I'll try to dig up the pictures i took of the totalled car. I was hit by him head on in the front of my car, by the front of his car. Yes the old lady totally hugged me in this case! The car did its job, kept me alive.

this is my experience last winter
I was hit in the back of my truck by another truck, I had to slow down because a douche in front of me slowed down and he was riding the middle of the highway..I was doing about 60 the other guy was over 100km/h

He had a fractured leg...
It took me like 500yards to stop my truck while I was fighting to regain control...Good tires and good driver avoided the ditch that day, even the guys at my company were surprised that i was able to pull it out of jack-knife...
we were both lucky that there was no much traffic, my biggest fear was to be hit again by a truck out of control...Highway 401 is a warzone in the winter there is not one kilometer that didn't have a tragedy.
