I just bought this yellow '99 A4 for $500 off a guy who put a hole in his oil pan and kept driving on the highway. It was knocking so bad we dropped the pan and there was chunks everywhere. I also had a spare blown AEB motor at the shop I work at, so I figured it's time to play one last time the 'tuner game'.
I'm no stroking this setup; I'll make up displacement with good tuning. I do have the AWD dyno at work so I want to see how far I can take this combination of ingredients with a proper build. At my work I've seen some funny little inventions come through our shop, this is my attempt to show my clients and friends a build purely based on function more than form. I'm going to race this season, mainly drag so what I want is 12's or if I'm lucky 11's. Our elevation in Calgary is 1,048 M (3,438 FT) so HP is hard to make, when friends go down to Vancouver their cars are one to two seconds faster. Mass/flow is hard to get up here period.
