THis is a longshot but... does anyone have a 1.8t test pipe that I can borrow to test whether my cat is clogged? I'd only need it for a day or two, and I'll buy you new gaskets.

Any B5 or B6 longitudinal test pipe will work. I'll even help install it on your car if you want when I'm done.

Hey local Pittsburgh guys and gals...I need some recommendations in finding someone who can repair curb rash on my iForged wheels that I have on my S4. Has anyone ever used these alloy repair specialist guys?? Also, where has anyone gone in here to get professional body work done? I need some dings repaired and my car could use a high speed buff. Can someone reccomend me a good shop in Pittsburgh, I am having very bad issues with my 2005 S4. I thought I was having a bad misfire in my engine. Replaced plugs and coil back. Now I smell very bad clutch smell and it seems that it is shot. Does this sound like the common flywheel issues? I was not getting any check engine lights but I the car has a very bad vibration and looking at the engine it seems to have a miss fire but I have replaced plugs and coils.

Anyways I am now in need of a good shop, I live near 51 in the south hills.

I had signed up for Carlisle this year but had to cancel out due to a compound fracture above my left ankle. I won't be able to drive until next fall at the best as my clutch is a bear. For those who haven't been to Carlisle for the show, it's a must do. Us Audi people get a prime parking location, the club provides (for a fee) great food and drink. Its about that bong!! If you want to see rare Audis and enjoy the camaraderie of like enthusiasts, be there!!

The 1996 A4 deck lids have a market because the license plate frame is elongated for the Euro plates in the rear. I know a lot of B5 S4'ers who actively seek that year specifically. Not sure what yours is though...

Are the C&C folks as stuck up as people make them out to be? I haven't checked out any shows yet (prob the waterfront one coming up) but I did check their forums and I was surprised at how big of douches some of the guys really sounded. Some down to earth folks, but some really super douches too. Kinda makes me not want to even be around people who feel so high and mighty over other people just because of a car they drive...

I only talked to one person in the 30 minutes I was at the C&C event, and it was the owner of the 2007 RS4, who was very down to earth. But, like any event that draws a lot of people you will get a mix of personalities. I would say that the event was a nice mix of cars, but there certainly are those that were there just showing off.
We could always start our own GTG, something around Pittsburgh, maybe once a month in the summer.

This. And yeah, I'm sure there was a mix. It just irritates me when people are like that...the one guy on the forum basically referred to people without exotics as "riffraff". C'mon dude...we're supposed to be there for the love and passion of cars in general. Sure, most people have their preferences (and that's why we all own what we own)...but don't be that guy who can't give the next guy in line the same common respect.

After Carlisle and SoWo next week we should definitely get a local PGH 'Zine meet up though

I went to Total Image for my windows to be tinted, and I didn't like the result. Wouldn't suggest them to you.

Some mobile guy did my car. I was happy with the results except for the fact that the bottom was trimmed to short and every time I put the windows down it would peal up. I fixed that with some clear packing tape.

Seems like if it's not an Impala or some form of American made on 24's they give you an odd look.

With both experiences I'll keep my eyes open and ask around.

I've heard good things over the years about Auto Illusions in Moon Twp on Brodhead/University, not too far from Robinson....I've never had anything done there though so I can't say from personal experience unfortunately
