Re: 2009 Up on Audiusa.com
I played around this all the options and the three packages and there are so many different configuration I think there are too many choices. I like that they added new colors though and every car gets the MMI standard. The seats look like an upgrade as well.

Re: 2009 Up on Audiusa.com
Theres prices for packages and options if you use the audi configurator and not the build your a4 tab on the a4 section of the site. Click build your audi on the upper right side of the audiusa home page.

Under performance specifications, it shows that Tiptronic is Optional, which should mean that the manual is Standard. This is the case for the 2.0T and 3.2

Re: 2009 Up on Audiusa.com
Hey A4Ber, I notice you're getting Ibis white, and you're in Sunnyvale. Where did you order your car from, and what configuration are you getting?
I've ordered Ibis White, with the 6s Tip with S-Line and every option but the rear airbags. The configuration comes in at $50,500 and I still need to add the Stasis package, and some body kit parts.
When is your car due in? As you have probably noticed, the SLines are delayed 5 weeks due to a problem with a supplier. Apparently, it's the suppliers that provides the new 19" wheels.
Go figure...

The lack of dual exhaust is actually a smart move on the 2.0T. Dual exhausts on 4 cylinder motors are fake anyway so why add more weight and more piping? This keeps unnecessary weight off. You want a dual exhaust then get a V6.

Be lucky we're getting any cars from overseas. They're taking huge losses on the USA market right now.

Re: 2009 Up on Audiusa.com
Ok. So I configured my ideal car and it's 50K. (actually I would only pay 47K but still) Wtf. And that's a 2.0T - with a crappy Steptronic from the ancient times. Not even DSG.
I have a problem with such a sticker price when you can get a fairly loaded 335 for this kind of money.
So until they bring the DSG and put it on the A4s - I'll hold off buying one.
Plus I wonder how are they going to price the S4s?
Also I noticed it's only a difference of 3K between the 2.0T and the 6 cylinder. In B7 used to be about 5-6K between them.
I'd have to drive this car and be wooed to make a move.

Do some research, the value of the dollar is rising sharply against the Euro.

Re: 2009 Up on Audiusa.com
I speced mine out... even if I assume that the auto is 1000 and I take that off and I count my 6% off... it's still 35,000.
So if I have to wait until march to get a manual I might as well buy a 335 as it will be the same price for a used 2007 one, have 90 more HP, be rear wheel drive and have a higher resale value because the initial hit of deprication is behind it...
I don't want to though. I would prefer I could get a manual sometime this year so I don't to have to buy new tires for the G35...

kinda lol. it's actually longer than that. If there was a manual this month or next, I'd buy an A4 and be done with it. But if I have to wait until march, I will need to buy expensive ass tires and probably rotors and at that point I will have my tax return and a used 335 will be looking pretty damn good...

You do some research buddy.
Current rates:
1 U.S. dollar = 0.670376081 Euros
Up to a few years back, 1 dollar equalled nearly 2 euros.

Re: 2009 Up on Audiusa.com
^^The reason is was 2 euros for 1 $ is because they had just introduced the currency to the market, as soon as people started to use and believe in the euro- it has killed the $ since. I thinks its ridiculous to get a loaded a4 for 50k, I have a decently loaded 05.5 and the price was only 38-40k
