Fucking seriosuly my M3's ride and interior quality is more than adequate and the thing still only weighs 3415 lbs compared to the RS4 3571 lb. I love both cars, the M3 for its aggressive look and phenomenal performance and the RS4 for its mild mannered styling and powerful V8. I'm gonna own both at the same time someday!

yes it can, I have seen stage 2 M3's that are amazing how fast they are, I think you are a little too bias my friend. And If you are correct where is your proof? and more than one M3 vs S4 video too, I just dont like it when people think that the M3 is a slow car or something, just cause an S4 has a V8 in it does not mean that its that much better, not to mention the S4 is a little porker at 3,825 lbs the car is 410 lbs more than an M3. Not trying to start an e-cock match, just stating facts.

yeah right..u better check that 0-60 time again..at best 4.5 sec and QT is more like 13 flat and they trap at 107 mph, so yes, 12.8 is definitely doable..but, anything higher than a trap of 107 is a freak car..

I believe the expectation is for a M3's interior and ride quality to be more than "adequate", or we would probably be driving an evo. At the end of the day the M3 may be lighter, but you sacrifice interior quality and all wheel drive. It just depends on what you want. Both are great cars.

The point of the RS4 is performance, meaning speed and handling, or else everyone would just get an A4. So with that in mind, with the price you pay, you should be at least par with the competition, and the RS4 gets beat by almost every car in the European market in its class with comparable value. The RS4 not only costs more than the E92, it has the same amenities and ergonomics if not less than the m3, and it gets beat by a car that was built almost 10 years ago. That is why I think its sad, if driveline loss and weight was a problem they should have put a more powerful engine in the RS4 to at least keep up with the old M3 not to mention the new one.

People keep saying that in the rain and snow it does better... that is the most ridiculous comment. I hardly doubt that people actually go out in a rain storm, or snow storm to have a race, thats what the 4wd trucks are for. Sure it may have better traction, and it can kick an M3s ass in the snow, but who really races in wet and snow?!?!

Actually, the most pure fun I have ever had in my RS4 is when I get to drive it on snow covered roads. I throw on a set of Dunlop Winter Sport 3D's and the RS4 is transformed into a winter thrill machine. I just can't get the shit eating grin off my face!!

People have crazy talk in here!!! 1. I've seen video of s4 beat e46 m3 on track from top gear but losing in straight...then to compare rs4!! It will destroy it in every way straight and even more ridiculously on turns..and yes the e92 m3 beats rs4 in almost every video I've seen on track..but like someone said...I had e46 m3 and my rs4 is so much faster in every way and I got it cause I love the awd...I'm not a pro driver but I feel so much more confident thru the canyons...down sunset...it inspires so much confidence its scary! So it really just depends what u like...mb c63 bmw m3 isf rs4 all friggin ridiculous amazing cars!!!

that 12.8 is the absolute best time i have seen posted anywhere... usually the RS4 traps around 107mph..and the Gtech is BS, dont go by that. 4.5 is a more realistic at best time.
I tried my friend's Gtech when I had my G35 coupe and it said I did a 4.8 0-60, and I know that was complete garbage.

This isnt news people. This has been getting beat up since the day the B6 S4 came out. M3 this and M3 that. Why is the M3 always being compared to??... Because its the benchmark. I strongly doubt that in the Bimmer forums that they even compare their M3s to the S4. Enough said.
