1000bhp S4, Project Satans-Child ...

You guys need to check-out this beast in the build, it will be a 1000bhp monster once completed and yes it's a S4 and it will still have the S4 lump in her even though Quattro is now gone.

The intension was to keep it all Audi Quattro but it was clear that the drive train would not be able to handle what he had in mind so he went with all or nothing dumping the drive train and have the chassis rebuilt and drive train to what you see now.

In most cases a lot of you will say it's not an Audi anymore which is not for me to say but his engine sure is and I'm sure some of you guys would find interesting, just take the heads he is using 2.4 30v heads for better flow.

What makes sense is relative, I guess.

In his case, he decided to use a B5 S4 shell, because he could.

It makes less sense to spend money buying a shell, when a perfectly good one's already available.

Oh -- totally agree! I'm sure it's infinitely more fun to do the entire build with your own car, etc... I guess if someone was trying to build a 1k hp S4 on a budget, there are cheaper ways

Only thing more jaw dropping then the way it looks is the amount of money spent on it and it isn't even close to being done. My guess the total cost of it by the time he is done will be over $200k, but building a 7 car is never cheap.
