Well, this was for not, I still can't post to classifieds! I guess joining a year ago does not count toward the 30 probation.

I havent read through this entire thread so bear with me, members and admin...

Everyday I sign onto beautiful Audizine and always check the "Last Day" Ads in the Classifieds to see if there is anything I cant live without on my B5.

Well, the first page is all new stuff, but when you click page 2 and on, old popular ads come up instead of the stuff that has been posted in the past day, like I requested with "Last Day"

Now, you might say, well just click "Most Recent" and that will solve the problem! Nope, doesnt even load.

And yes, I have the latest Internet Explorer and everything on the new Audizine is great but this, which I am frustrated with because I miss the good ol' classifieds.

Anyway, Admins sorry for the rant if its a repost, but just letting you guys know if not.

However, I do have to say that I am already used to the new Forum style and its great so thanks for keeping up with all of our requests.

We havent gotten a response from an Admin in quite a while.

Leads me to believe theyre either working on it or dont know (cant imagine how they wouldnt yet)

I have issues with my Ads (Edit Ad link is missing now, mark it SOLD doesn't work,...). I get a msg that I don't have permission. I've tried logging in/out. No change. I can't make any changes to my Ads. I've contacted AZ Admin/Support multiple times with no reply.

As a "New Member" you can no longer edit your ads (or create new ones). You need to make 4 more posts in the Main Model-Line Forums in order to now qualify for this privilege.

Is there any way to incorporate a buy/sell history into the classified section? The reason I ask, is I purchased a used turbo a while back (maybe 2 months ago). The seller "did" list that it only boosted to around 9psi, and he also stated it was because of the wastegate. So, I purchased the turbo and a replacement wastegate. Installed it finally (waiting for the good weather, parts, and work was holding me up), and it only boosts to 9psi still. I am going to test the n75 valve, by removing the line that goes to the wastegate to see if I can even boost past 9psi (raining out, and it is incredibly fristrating working in the rain). If I can't, the turbo def has an issue. But I can not recall his user name, nor have a way to contact him to get my money back if he indeed sold me a defective unit. If there was a buy/sell history like they have on ebay, one could easily know whom the seller is, contact info, etc. Just for future referance, this may be usefull for a number of reasons. And this is one of them.

Here is a work around to not being able to view page 2 and sorting by Most Recent and only being able to view by most views.

Click page 2 and then go back to page one. Up in the address bar you will see the following.

If you look at it you will see perpage=20 and all you have to do is change that to 200 like I did above and it will list 200 by most recent.

That would be a worthwhile feature, and we hope they implement it into a future update. This is why we encourage the use of the Classifieds Feedback for all buyers and sellers. For instance, here's yours...

It should be under "User Options" then "Edit Ad". At the very bottom of that page is a checkbox to delete.

We have turned off the ability for "New" and "Registered Members" to post comments on Classified Ads. To ask a question of a seller or buyer you will need to contact them via PM or email.

Nevermind I just answered my own question. I found the account ranking policy. Doesn't make alot of sense though. I have been a member for awhile but don't have the post count so I can't respond by POST. WOW!

im also having problems with the classifieds. Whenever I use the classifieds search feature, it doesnt show any results. I'll search common words like "BBS" or "Hotchkis" and no results come up. It's an on and off issue. It might work today, but not tomorrow. I've tried Mozilla, IE, and Google Chrome..same problem with all 3.

If you're logged in, the subheader in the Classifieds section should have the following...

Place An Ad - My Ads - My Watchlist - Classifieds Search - Settings - Logout

Ahh, thanks Anthony...for some reason, that subheader is showing up on my screen with the bottom-half of the text cut off, so I wasn't seeing it.

We're aware of that problem in some browsers, mostly IE. It's something we've been working on, with a patch coming next week (along with a Facebook login option).

Is there anyway to make it so when the ad expires the user gets an email and then it's just deleted or something. The reason I ask is because it automatically says sold after it expires even though most of the time it's not actually sold.

I have tried 'log out' and it won't log me out. just saids my cookies have been deleted.

Your account level is still at "New Member", which prohibits the posting of comments in the Classifieds section (among other things). More about that here: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?357141

Anthony, I accidentally clicked on the "unsubscribe me" link in an email notification for the classifieds (Engine/Performance -> A4 -> B6 Platform category) and now I don't see a way to subscribe (again) to the category. Is this a temporary issue, or are we only allowed to add individual classified ads to our watch list?

It is a bit hard to find. When you're anywhere in a higher level category (such as Engine/Performance >> A4), look for the circular green checkmark icons within the center column of the subcats (right next to the RSS icons). Clicking that should subscribe and/or unsubscribe.

Sorry for missing this one.

There should be an email sent out when the ad is expiring, with an option to renew it or let it close. Are you not getting anything like that?

I was not aware that when an ad expires it gets marked as "Sold" rather than simply closed/expired/removed, so I'll have to look into that.

As for the "disable email updates" issue, are you talking about in the ad on Audizine or within an actual email update?

My ads are gone. I only have one ad up of ten...I got no notice to ask if I wanted to renew them or anything? What's the deal? Do I have to redo them all?!
