in this rollercoaster of modding i think i've come to the point where i'm done.

i had a nasty crack in my ATP manifold and took it a bit of work getting it replaced under warranty, only to try installing it but breaking a bolt inside the turbo, hence a $550 bill to repair the damages from this piece of shit.


so i got fed up with all the performance stuff, so i sold off the Water/methanol injection kit
bye bye snow performance!


also sold the Oettinger RZ's. it pained me to do so, but i wanted to free up some cash and it was the easiest thing to part with, so farewell Oettinger!



and i'm back to semi-stock.



perhaps there will be other 19's in the future, but seeing as i have bigger things on the list of things to buy, ie. house, grad school, a truck, the wheels will have to wait.

not to mention the car feels much quicker without the big wheels and the stock manifold. quicker spool and more fun since it's cooling back down.

**there was positive reinforcement out of this though. the girlfriend and i got out of dinner one night and she saw the car on stock 17's and she lamented "wow, that looks like shit [after the oettingers], i should get a second job to put some proper wheels on that car again". haha, guess i made the right choice with this one!

nav can be picked up through several of the vendors here on AZ (Proxus, German Driver, etc), just search for RNS-E under the FS:interior forum and they should pop up. those fellas will take good care of you

if you bent your wheels already then m-classics won't be any better. they're a cast 1-piece wheel, so they won't hold up much better than your rs-10's..

Very badass story, i only dream of doing the same thing to my ride someday. Very nice looking b6 though, If you are wanting to get new rims, in my opinion i think some black wheels would look steller, and it would match the black roof.

19x8.5 and 19x9.5 IForged Senekas in black wrapped in Kumho Ecsta 235/35/19 and 245/35/19 rubbers.

Also picked up another Kerscher CF lip to compliment the bumper again...car looks complete :)

anyways, the grille is a kamei painted to match the body with rings put in. It's a cheap Caractere grille if you wanna look at it that way...

I picked up some Polarg M-17 Citylight bulbs to replace my burned out stock bulbs. I found out that M-B guys have the same city lights for their W208's and they go through these like candy too.

i also did the N249 removal. Took about 15 minutes to chop the vacuum line and pull off the T-connector. holy cow that thing was on tight. anyways, all said and done it was an easy mod, but we'll see how well it reacts after i take it for a spin.
