Only in Europe do these crazy chop weld and full rebuild exists. Its sick and im loving it, Although it must have cost ALOT to do the full body conversion.
Theres another sick B6 Avant build in the Avant forum, where a guy did a full strip down of his car and wide bodied it. I was following that one, now theres two to keep an eye out for.
Sickness.
Weeeell, It's not as bad as you would think.... the hourly labour cost in bodyshops here is about $150-165, but when we to all the work on the car ourselves, it's not to bnad. Billi's doing all the mechanics, and I'm doing the bodywork
That's the craziest thing I have every seen! More power to you. No pun intended. Why did you not order the titanium mirrors as well? Or are you matching them to the color of the car? Love the Nascar banner, great touch. I am very interested on how much you paid for the brake conversion? Are you going to make a post with part numbers? or would that take as long as building this project?
Awesome. Since you have the TDI, I would do a veggie oil conversion and do some engine work, so you can haul ass on old chicken wing grease for basically fuel free costs. That would make me drool all day long.
sick....on a side note somebody else already asked but I hope youre really puting an RS4 engine in there. Already a stock diesel engine is not the best sounding thing and imagine that kind of engine in an RS4(Clone). What makes the RS4 an RS4 IMO is the engine.Keep us posted on the project looks good so far
I've been Audiless for a while but one of my DD will get replaced by an A3.

I live in norway. if i were to put in an rs4 engine i would have to be a millionare!!
the reason why i'm doing this is to have a car that looks nice. it is going to be my daily driver, so i also need something that i can afford to drive to work everyday. diesel / gas prices over here are also twice as much as you pay.
and another thing: if i wanted to swap engine, i would go for something a little more special, like an 4.0 v8 tdi! i think that would give me lots more torq:)
It's ok that everyone has their own opinion, but this is my build and i'm doing what's right for me.
(if someone feels that this thread belongs someplace else, please feel free to move it.)

You are already a millionaire my friend all these parts $$$, gallardo brakes(rs4). As for the gas I pay 1.62 a liter here. Im not knocking on your project body wise thumbs up I just meant to ice up the cake a nice engine that matches the $ already invested and youll be able to test these amazing brakes. Then again its your project no mine or ours... keep us posted I still like it.:).
By the way when you will register the car and renew insurance will you have a hard time?

I know this is a little off topic, but do you have any large pics of the rear of your car? I'd like too see how the four exhaust pipes look. You can Post in the B6 Pic sticky as not to further contaminate this thread.

1,62 is cheap!!!
Just calculated our price: 2,63 dollar per litre! Diesel is close to the same, but they use half as much...
I will settle for bodymods now. maybe after i'm finished with my garage and the rest on my house, I will look for a new engine:)

I just came back from Trinidad today and I could not believe the price of gas there, premium there is $2.70/L and the exchange rate is 6 to 1, so a gallon is $1.70USD. Their leaded gas which most use as there doesn't seem to be any emission std's is $1.50/L is $0.94USD. I also noticed there were a lot more Audis there than I expected to see, TT's, Q7's, B6 and B7 A4'S AND A3's, also the A3 gets a 1.6L and both the b6 and b7 a4 has a 1.8t in them.
If someone has ever installed (successfully) the RS4 steering wheel on a B6 A4, I would like to know it will work.
Do not want to order it before I am sure about the airbag issue...
sorry, I'm having some trouble fitting the rear breaks...
the bracket for the rear calipper does not line up with the disks when you have a 1,9TDi car.. If anybody wonders:)
The spindes are now at a friend of mine for a little mashining!
..and I'm waiting for a few parts from germany. They will be in on monday I hope.
More updates will come if they good people at Audizine still wants me in the RS4 forum:) hahaha
We got some new parts in today, as well as the tinted windows. Still missing some small, but important parts.... Had to put on the front bumper today, just to get a view of what to come....
