From A4 (B6) to RS4 (B7)

Hello, sorry for my stupid question but can a 98 B5 S4 be converted to a B7 RS4 (just the exterior and the interior) ?

I think anything's possible. But I'd suggest you save your money and either get an actual RS4 or an S4. Or, better yet, just save it for your future.

I have a stage 3 S4 at 400 bhp, in the near future I will bring it to almost 500 bhp, there is no sense to buy a B7 RS4 since that one is at 420 hp..... I think it will be cheaper to convert my B5 S4 to B7 RS4, I just want to know if that is possible..... thx

It's possible, but effing retarded. Power levels have nothing to do with the aesthetics of the car.

^ Exactly. I was thinking the same thing. Why are you posting up your power levels. You asked if you could change/convert a B5 to a B7 aesthetically.

Finaly got around to do a little much needed work on it. Changed all the controlarms in the front, gearoil, engineoil, installed H&R swaybars (NICE!) and new stainless exhaust:)
Will post more pictures when I clean up my garage...

I installed the S4 rear sway bar yesterday. I love the stiffer rear. The H&R you installed, rear or front? Post some pictures!

BTW, i passed you thursday morning around 0630 from Kongsberg to Drammen.

H&R both front and rear = totally changed the handleing of the car:)

why did you go so far up on the rear fenders? could it have just been easier to cut them at a lower point instead of going to the mid section of the rear a-pillar? im loving it either way, i found an a4 b6 and im thinking of scrapping my b5 rs4 conversion to do this as well.

Hey this looks very sweet but what was the total cost of the conversion? Including man-hours and so on...must have been quite a bundle...

No it would not have made more sense... If you scan the thread, you'll see that he stated how much it would cost for that sort of car, and the taxes are ridiculous...
