DTH dangled another carrot and I bit. I scored the matching USP Relica Carbon fiber trunk spoiler to go with the roof spoiler I bought earlier. I can't wait for Christmas in August when I get back. Pics to come as soon as I get home.. :)

Re: My Goodwood Green B6 A4...

After much thought about what to do next to complete the exterior of the car for now and a thread over in the B6 section I decided on buying a set of ecodes. Fortunatly a great deal presented itself in the classifieds, thanks Maverick. I bought his slightly used Bi-zenon ecodes. Once again I'm still at sea, only a month left and I can enjoy all the goodies I have waiting.

Re: My Goodwood Green B6 A4...

Went on vacation and there was no way I was going to be able to work on the car, my girl would have stabbed me.. so here are a few more. I mounted the DTH Carbon fiber roof spoiler today.
    The goods:

    Install:

I broke the S4 Ecodes out of there packaging also, going to install after lunch.

That is all for now. More pics of headlights after lunch and full body pics with spoiler, wheels, and headlights after she gets a bath. Enjoy...

Re: My Goodwood Green B6 A4...

My JHM weighted Delrin shift knob arrived today, on with the pictures. I used the DIY on their website which is super straight forward. Just pop the shifter boot and trim out by pulling up on the edges inside the boot. Pop the super frustrating clip off that are all over these cars. Finagle the old knob out of it's retaining ring, you'll see when you get there and install the new slick knob with retaining ring, two washers, and two set screws to get it nice and straight. On with the pictures....

They are coming, I need to give her a bath still for some proper pofile pics. Trust me though it looks sick. I'm waiting on the matching lip spoiler to complete that portion and drop the S4 bumper and parts off to paint to complete all the exterior upgrades.

Here we go I got the balls up and installed the Aero Catch hood latches came out great except for a little clear coat peeling... damn it.. oh well I was putting off getting the rock chips and a little cracking fixed, on with some pics..

It got dark towards the end and I didn't get to the actual relocation of the pins. Hopefully tomorrow. Better pics of hole car will come this weekend. Hopefully I can get the hood to sit right again also or they may be a nice fresh new one in my future.

Re: My Goodwood Green B6 A4...

Oh I also got my rear resprayed, damn parallel parking in the city, and had the S4 front bumper painted and installed. Base Auto Body in Elkridge did a fantastic job painting and blending on all four corners for a nice price. I also had them mold the filler plate into the front bumper so it is as smooth as a baby's bum. I need to trim the fog grills, install the fog lights, plasti-dip the center chrome trim to match and then I can take some new pics for your viewing pleasure.

Finished trimming the grills and what not and installed the skidplate. Looks pretty good, save for the hood issue but another day.

An update finally..I bought the new carbon fiber hood from Eurogear. I must say it is awesome and so much better than my old DTM Karbon boser style hood. Also since the framing had cracked and caused some seriously annoying bowing I am so much happier on just the first set of adjustments. It is nice to have the windshield washers again for the first time in almost two years as well... I still need to adjust the hood latch a bit and perhaps the hinges again but so far it is 100% better than my old one and the quality is top notch in the framing as well. I also added a nice new S4 grill for the flow with my S4 front. My apologies for the cell phone pics but I can't find my camera charger.

While we are here, a side shot...

Wow man... I have to be honest until now I honestly thought that that was the ugliest color that Audi ever put on the A4. But what you have done to it trully has hit a reset button in my brain and I have to say... VERY VERY WELL DONE. I have never seen the lowers painted inthe British Racing green ( I know thats not actually it but its so damn close) and teh mean boser hood matched with the HRE's damn dude very well done.

Thanks man, glad I could turn you around on the goodwood. I love the fact that there are so few and green is just my favorite color as well. It is funny you mention British racing green because sometimes it is called that but I always thought that color was a little lighter.

Just an update, finally got around to installing the S4 H-sport sways, front and rear. Wow is all I can say coming from the stock non-sport bars that had 100K on them. It handles even better than before and I got some new rear summer tires since the others were bananna peels. I also did the front brakes with Adam's slotted and dimpled rotors and Hawk HPS ceramic pads, a definite improvement in braking and much less dust up front. I also took advantage of Winston's deal for the Okada Project plasma coil packs, but dyno says they are sweet. I was getting an intermitant misfire on the old Hiatachi "E" coils, but that could of been due to age. Hopefully I can get some new pics up before the winter wheels go on in the next few weeks.

A quick update, recently got back from deployment just in time to marry my best friend. The Mistress as the wife calls her and will from here on out be referred to as needed a little love too. Turned out my flex piece in my exhaust sprung a leak and needed to be replaced, also a rear window regulator, and lastly the fun stuff, had a beefier Southbend Stage 3 daily installed with their single mass flywheel since mine was just about ready to leave me stranded with hard shifts above 2K. Have about 500 miles on her and she is starting to smooth and my familiarity with the much different engagement points and additional pressure required to push down. Over all very pleased and I will report back after a few thousand with second impressions. I also picked up the ECS LED interior lighting conversion kit that I will install soon and post some pics of before and after for comparison sake.
