Hello and welcome to the Audizine Newsletter for June 2008. If you bother to read these monthly newsletters on a regular basis, or even just glance them over, you may notice that this one's a bit larger than usual. Well, as we get into Summer, things do tend to pick up a bit and there's just more to go over. Not only that, but we're looking to improve the scope, involvement, and communication within the Audizine Community. There's a lot going on, both behind the scenes here at Audizine and out there within the Audi community at large. It's certainly a great time to be an enthusiast!
Use the all-new table of contents above to jump to a specific section, or read on below for all the latest news and information from around The Zine.
Have you checked your Profile Page lately, or that of another AZ'er? If so, you would have noticed a few new features. I'd just like to quickly point out a few of the enhancements, as they greatly improve the social aspect of the AZ Community.
Profile Comments: A familiar feature with most social networks, we can now leave messages on other's profile pages. Unlike a post in a forum thread, or a private message, this is a more direct public way to express one's thoughts with another member. Like a mod that one of your fellow AZ'ers has done? Well you can now let him/her know via a comment on their profile page!
Friends Lists: Another common aspect of sites like Facebook and MySpace, this is an easy and simple way to keep a list of your buddies on AZ. This includes both an abridged list on the right side of your Profile Page, as well as a more detailed one under the Friend's tab where you can quickly and easily see your entire Friend's List and whether or not they're online.
Social Groups: A great way to stay in touch with your local AZ friends, or share a particular passion or interest with other AZ'ers that are into the same thing as you. Check out the Group's List page to see what's forming, or start one of your own if it doesn't yet exist.

Another Summer, another Waterfest. That special time of year when hundreds of Audi enthusiasts descend upon New Jersey and rep their rides among thousands of V-Dubbers. One day we'll show 'em! Good news is that our numbers are growing. So far this year we've got more AZ'ers signed up than ever! But we know there are some of you still undecided. If you're an Audi enthusiast (which you should be if you're on here and reading this), you have an Audi (again, which you more than likely do), and you're anywhere near the North East region of the US, then you should be there.
If you haven't signed up yet, or just want to learn more, than head on over to the Waterfest 14 Forum. Here you can sign up for the Audizine Group Discount, read up on the various caravans, or discuss which hotels don't suck. Below are some of the basics on WF14.
This month we've got a real treat, something completely different. Sure we do our best to bring you a unique and interesting feature article every month, but this month we've got ourselves a guy and his car that are really pushing the envelope - as well as the buttons! We'll explain that last part shortly. Anyway, if you're active in either the B6 A4 Forum or the North West Regional Forum, then you'll no doubt be familiar with this man's work. Love it or hate it, you've got to be impressed with the time and energy put into this car. More
