You can plug them in and they will work in my case but if you have the "Driver Display Warning" then for every LED bulb you put into your car when you start it up and and ready to go and put it into Drive. Your center display will beep and point out every bulb that is out.
In my case I put 1156 LED bulbs in my DRLs and 194 LED bulbs in my City Lights. So I get 4 beeps and 4 warning lights pop up saying that the bulbs are out.
You can add resistors but they get hot. You also have to put one in for every LED bulb. Only problem is that the housing is plastic so not sure where to attached the resistors if I went that route.
Do the bulb out warnings continously alert you, or is where just when you turn the car on??

The warnings beep only once in my car for each LED bulb and displays the location only when you shift from Park to anything below.
The display warning will stay on in the top portion of the center display. I don't mind ignoring them because I'm not quite sure if I want to put those resistor in my bi-xenon plastic housing....that would be an expensive replacement for some $5/pair resistors.
The LEDs look so much more better then the filament bulbs and they draw very little watts....about 1W/bulb....very efficient!
do you know what kind of resistor you would need to use to get rid of the bulb out warning? i've being thinging of doing the LED DRL thing and was wondering. haven't found a kit yet either. looks good
yeah looks good at night and decent during the day.
just have to ignore the warning icon. or try the resistor route but i can't see a place to put one of those in the plastic housing. the sellers of the resistors recommend placing them on a aluminum surface to keep cool.
so long story short i just live with the beeps and bulb out warning.
thanks alf for the link, got me scouring the internet to get info to install led drls, i just dont like the look of the standard drl. the color sucks, and led's are sweet.
RL-650 Tail Light Load Resistor kit
6 Ohm, 50 Watt load resistor kit
Solves most LED turn signal problems
Connect one across each LED turn signal bulb to simulate filament Tail/Turn signal bulbs
$ 4.95
Check Out
RL-2525 Marker Lamp Load Resistor
25 Ohm, 25 Watt load resistor kit for mini wedge base bulbs
Connect one across each LED marker light to resolve bulb-out warning indicator problems

So which resistor do you use if 10 Ohm is not available? Looks like 6 and 25 Ohm resistors at this site.
