Cupra Front Lip on B7 S-Line + Installation
Awhile back, someone was asking about detailed photos of a cupra R on a b7 a4 chassis with S-Line front bumper. Well, finally sat down and did the install today. Hope you like it.
Installation:
1. Shave down 2 tall Center posts using dremely cutting disc, (be careful, i shaved a little too much lol)
2. shave down the raised tabs using a dremel with sander attachment
3. Line up and fit the spoiler exactly how you want it, double check
4. I used 3/4th inch self drilling screw on the center corners first. (tight, do not strip, these are integral to the rest of the fitment)
5. Drill/Screw through the tabs while a buddy or duct tape holds in in the proper location. (tight but not TOO tight, you do not want to strip them as they will be holding a decent amount of stress)

Re: Cupra Front Lip on B7 S-Line + Installation
I got it from OEMPL for about 110$ total +-, too lazy to check the invoice. I would NOT order from them again, they bent and folded it to get it to fit into the box, even after i made a note to pack it carefully to avoid that. There is a bend in the plastic that i tried to work out so i hope nobody notices that. I was about to send it back, but figured if they were that incompetent the first time, why would the second be any different.
Pictures from further away? i suppose i could take a few shots for ya, ill do it tomorrow in the daylight, provided the rain holds off

didn't use two-sided tape along with the screws? And I can't remember from previous posts but are there already pre-drilled holes on the lip?

No holes whatsoever on the lip. You need to drill them yourself.

no double sided tape nescessary. keeps the pain in tact, with the exception of a few tiny holes.

Re: Cupra Front Lip on B7 S-Line + Installation
Looking at your front on picture. The lip looks too narrow for the B7! Is that because in that picture you hadn't aligned it properly yet or is it that narrow?

It's narrow.
Only looks odd from square off the front. Otherwise you wouldn't notice.

It's all good, it's nice to add something to the non-s bumper. ABT lip, cupra, votex, caractere are all solid options.
