Since you blacked out the taillights so thick, I'm surprised you didn't black out the windows or the grille as well? Any reason why not?

Window trim maybe, but grill too? That would look way too black, I think.

My new wallpaper..... my dream car next to the POS jet i get the pleasure of fixing everyday How did you get the chance to take that pic? I have a secret clearance and still am not able to take my S that close to one lol!

Does any one know the brand and the offset on these wheels. I would love to talk to the owner and find out if they needed to do body work to make these fit they look sick. Please help thanks

Does anyone know the offset for the wheels on the blue rs4 pictured with the jet. If you do know, what size the wheels and tires are. I love the lip on the wheels looks really agressive and fits perfect.

Hey guys, what do we think of replacing my titanium edition S4 grille for a titanium edition RS4 grille? Sprint Blue car, by the way.

Is it worth it or no? I have reason to take my bumper off anyway so the labor doesn't make a difference to me either way.

I changed mine! I had the regular brushed aluminum rs4 grille but changed to the titanium soooooooooo much better. I love it on sprint blue now my whole car is black except for the mirrors which i am leaving cause i love the true s4 mirror and the ugly chrome window trim which i am still deciding what to do.Hope that helps.

Yeah I think you and I are thinking along the same lines. I've already got the blacked out S4 grille. Its just a debate of whether the blacked out RS4 grille is worth the money and time or not. I'm going the blackout except the mirrors route as well.

Did you blackout the chrome strip on the trunk? Thats my next little project, but I haven't figured out how to get it off yet.

You got the S4 grill cause it was cheaper than the RS4 and now you want the RS4 grill. Should've just spent the extra cash in the first place and you could've saved yourself the cost of the S4 grill. Oh well. Live and learn.

sorta. Sorta not. I didn't want the RS4 grille cause I wanted to keep the S4 with authentic S4 parts, if you know what i mean. Striving for the oem look. However, now that some time has passed, I might have been won over to the RS4 grille look.

Also the RS4 grille doesn't match our fog surrounds, so if i get the grille i'm going to want to get the RS4 one as well, and that requires some DIY to make it fit.

whartung, I think FASTB7S4 has a stunning sprint blue car with the regular brushed alum. RS4 grill. It actually (Sprint Blue) may be the best colour to go RS4 grill because the black looks so great against the blue.

I installed RS4, and re-installed the S4 logo. He omitted. Both look great. Can't really go wrong with that mod, especially if you're already removing the bumper.

Interestingly, neither one of us have done the fogmod. I'm not sure I'll bother.

Tell me it isn't as scary to put your headlights in the oven as it sounds like it is? Also, do you need to change the bulb to a stealth bulb that blinks yellow, or is keeping the original turn signal bulb kosher? Also, how much of an ordeal is it to paint your headlight housings black as well?

I want to do that chrome strip on the trunk like yours. I suppose I'll go at it with a flat-head screw driver and a cloth to keep it from scratching. Do you leverage it upwards towards to top of the car or backwards towards the back of the car to get that strip off?

And finally, did you man up and shell out that cash for an OEM DTM spoiler, or is that a knock off? Cause it looks good. Forgive me for copying you, but imitation is the highest form of flattery, eh?

i've heard heat gun is better / safer for the headlights. stealth bulbs look nice, btu i think you can keep the original bulb.

as far as painting, i dont think you have to remove, but if you want to and it is easy, i guess go for it. this has been done many times though, this is the most recent diy: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...int+trunk+trim

I actually wanted to re-install the S4 logo. Just didn't want to take it off my original grill in case I go back to stock in the future. I was just going to buy an S4 grill emblem from vag-parts.com. They have them for like $7 or $8. Not sure which one to buy though. They have ones only for cabrios and one's for standard sedans. I guess they're different sizes or something.
