im doing a GT3071 turbo (fuel injectors, front mount,header,fueling system, etc)and tune from 034. I wanna keep stock internals, and they said I should dyno 440 at the wheels on pump gas. I might change to RS2 exhaust and intake cam's while I am at it. Im piecing it together now, hopefully once tax return comes in I can pull the trigger....but for now its a summer project

Well, i worked on bearing today, i got a bitch bolt, that holds spindle in place.

have tried everything, besides torch cause i don't want to mess up rubber bushing.

ordered spindle from AP for $67.00 shipped

i went to the garage, and woke up the sleeping beauty

i will be rockin Jetta MP3 for next couple of weeks, with expired registration since 2007

Anyone been to the chicago auto show yet? Im thinking about going tonight and wanted to hear a few opinions. I went last year and was un-impressed (im from Detroit where the REAL auto show is every year).

Well I've gone every year besides 2008 because it got old. Nothing too impressive the least couple years. My bro went and he wasnt too stunned at anything he said. Nothing big from Audi. I would go if I had a day off work and free tickets but nothing to go outta my way for, but if you got time and near the city why not?

Devin (Mr.Jetta) and I went last Friday. The only new things from Audi are the B8 S4, V10 R8 and the Q5. We couldn't go in them though. All we could do is stare at them and wish we had one.

If you do go, be sure to check out Volkswagen's section. They have a modified Tiguan and a modified CC and they both look amazing. If Devin reads this, I would hope he could post those pictures. The Tiguan was lowered and even had an APR Stage 3 kit on it. It looked like a much improved GTI. They also showed off a car from the TDI Cup.

Also, be sure to check out Lamborghini. They have a really nice looking flat blue Gallardo. Also, if you haven't seen the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe, you should take a gander at that. It's probably going to be the new Nissan 240SX because of it's turbocharged inline-4 & RWD. Besides that, nothing else really impressed me.

Oh, don't forget to go to the aftermarket section and pick up some Sham-Wow's!
