Haha nice parking areas around Clifton/ UC in general. See if anyone has other suggestions, but you could park it in my apartments parking lot. It is a gated apartment community right by Obrynsville. Has a key code access in and automated gate out. It is right off Madison.
@S4B5Sean, I am right by Hyde Park and don't see to many modded audis around the area. There is a scuba blue a3 running around and a B5 that has LEDs in the fog grilles. It would definitely be a nice area to meet up, although it is a short commute to C&C on saturdays.......

Thats close, maybe I'll come check it out. If only there were solo private garages that I could rent then I would have it made!
Any other ideas guys?

You're going to pay a premium for a single car garage anywhere. The best place to look though is Craigslist.

Anyone local (Cincinnati) with an e36 M3? I need a ride/drive in one..
So I'm looking to purchase an e36 M3 sedan and test drove one yesterday and it seemed that the clutch and engine felt very slow/non responsive. My only other BMW experience is with a manual e46 325i and 2008 128i, but these cars felt completely different (infinitely better).
The car in question is a 1997 M3 sedan automatic to manual conversion. The clutch engages smoothly and the transmission shifts smoothly, but the throttle (position mainly) seems way off/slower than I expected. I am use to BMW throttle being pretty similar to Audis (I drive a 1993 and 2000 S4), which this was not.
I'm hoping someone local may be willing to let me swing by and give me a ride, and even possibly permit me to take a slow lap around the block. I'm really just seeking a baseline feel of how the e36 should drive, normal throttle position/acceleration and heft/resistance of pedal(s). The car I drove still has the automatic rear diff, so I don't know if this changes things any/much.
I understand this is an odd request (esp on an Audi forum), but please let me know if you'd be willing to help me out, or if you may know someone with an e36 that'd be willing to help..

Vulture! :)
There is a very good chance I'll be keeping it a while longer - unless all e36 M3s are really as uninspiring as the one I drove the other day, in which case I'll continue searching for another UrS4/6 or __? (5-8k)

Silver 98 coupe that is in Lexington? Or more likely the Red Coupe in Oregon? Silver one looks like it could be nice without too much work (replace/fix seat). Looks like no one snagged it, may be worth trying to get ahold of him if I could get him down closer to $8 and its relatively local..
Also, have you driven one? If so, thoughts about it?

Ah, yeah that may be a tad bit out of my budget (sell B5 and do it..?!) Related, I recently rode in a Holset hx40 UrS4 - not ideal for a daily driver, but holy crap did that thing take off when planned (launch control). I'm thinking 2871 or 3071 would be a reasonable daily driver, yet fun.

The time has come to sell the A4. Some of you guys have seen the car down at Cars and Coffee a few times...
Here is the link to my build thread: BUILD THREAD
I have also placed the car in the classifieds: CLICK HERE
I'd like to find it a good home in the enthusiast community. PM me if interest, I will entertain offers and trades. My true goal is to purchase something new, possibly going back to my roots with a VW GTI, or even a Golf R if I could scrape together enough cash!

Done with school in a month, then, coast to coast. I don't mind a drive to get acquainted, though I worry about not being able to check things out prior to flying wherever. Batting .500 in that regard; B5 S4 was as described, the TT had a number of issues that weren't disclosed and took time to discover.

I know these are far and few between to find a good one but I have a friend that is highly motivated to buy a b5 S4 that is either stg3 and properly built or wants to buy a stock one so he can build it. If anyone knows of one that is for sale let me know. He would like to buy local bc he doesnt want to travel and waste money on a plane ticket. He is dead set on it being Imola Yellow. If anyone knows of anyone that has one for sale or is concidering selling theirs let me know. He is an enthusist as well so its not going to some schmuch that doesnt know his audi business. Thanks in advance guys.

Haha, yes, it is very steep! I'm not really looking to sell - but it's always for sale for the right price. :)
Quickly made up breakdown: Car + $20k in mods + California car adds 25% to the value ;)

I am down to go to Water by the Bridge. Went last year and had a good time. 4 of us from here cruised down with the MKV guys, there was probalby 50 cars that met up at one of the rest areas in KY. Have you checked the MKV forums? Hopefully I will have my coils on by then.
