definitely no need for the cam spray by the time you set it up etc you will hate the machine.
as for the foam gun its great to get the car wash soap on it and speed things up a bit but as for comparing the cam spray set up to this one its really not a good one. The foam gun that we sell that hooks up to the hose is great it does the job of getting a nice pre soak on the car.
I have nothing against the absorber, I use to use them I just like Waffle Weave MF Towels better for drying.
The way you are taking out the wax build up in the crevices is a good one, add some detail spray and it should get the build up out quicker.
as for the rubber seals on the windows and doors I clean them up during the wash with an all purpose like Einszett Blitz or P21S Total Auto Wash. Then when I'm finishing up I dress them with einszett Gummi Pflege

LMK if that helped at all.
Helped a lot thanks!
Does the Cam spray foaming action just foam better? Looking towards the future, the cam, besides being a pressure washer will give me what benefits?
I'm looking for your professional advice. I'm using FMJ as a sealant. And been working with Menzerna for a couple of years now and very happy with the results. If I start using some Swissvax waxes, will it have any bonding issues if applied over FMJ?
What's your imput on products having bonding issues? From what I've learn when doing a paint job... some chemicals don't go well together, for example, take a water base paint and mix it with a solvent base paint and say hello to thousands of problems. Even on solvent paint like, an acrylic mixed with a polyurethane paint will have some problems. I'm talking about paint reactions when you repaint a part and just remove the clear coat and apply new paint over it.
I have experienced that the FMJ will not last as long when I wash the car with soap containing "carnauba" wax. So I only use soaps like P21S car shampoo or 1Z Perls shampoo. Will I have the same issues if using quick detailers containing some kind of wax on them?

honestly I don't like waxes over sealant, choose one and stick with it.
if I'm going for FMJ I'm trying to achieve durability and mirror like finish.
if I'm going with Swissvax I want a warm , deep, wet look.
I don't like mixing sealants and bonds cause I'm also not too fond of the looks and its another step that's not needed.
but I would advise that you get Swissvax Cleaner Fluid for the first application of Swissvax.
I'm getting ready to place my first order with you and I had a couple of questions about the interior:
- To clean the dash and all the gritty little cracks and crevices, will the
einszett Cockpit Premium do the trick or is there another cleaner that
would work better with a brush?
- Also the seatbelts are pretty soiled. What would be the best product to
scrub those down?
Thanks a lot!

yes Einszett Cockpit will do the trick. Get a boar's hair interior brush as well to get the dust out of your ac vents and cracks.
I would get the Einszett Upholstery Shampoo for the seats belts.
Last weekend i decided to detail the s4. I washed, clayed, and polished with PO85RD. Car turned out great. the paint was in good shape, so i decided not to go with anything harsher. however, after I washed the car, i noticed i have a spot on the hood. It is like an etched mark. Not sure how to best describe it. It feels rough if you run your finger across it. I have no idea what could of caused this.
Any recommendations on the best way to go about correcting something like this.

it could be a few things, hard water, acid rain, bird crap....
a more aggressive polish/compound or maybe even wetsanding the area, if you can't see it then I would wax it and leave it alone.
Hey Phil,
I searched the forums because I thought I'd seen it before but with no luck...my interior wood trim is pretty scratched around the shifter. What can I use to clean up those scratches a bit. Thanks a lot.

From what I understand, you really should only use the 2 Menzerna polishes twice a year or so as a through car cleaning. If I wanted to wash my car but do more than wax it, but less than the time consuming Menzerna polishes, what would I use/do?
Also, how long will 1z Glanz last before I need to reapply it? And when I'm reapplying it, do I need to use the polishes beforehand or can I just wash, clay, and apply the glanz?
What is 1Z Paint Polish used for and when? (At which point in the car cleaning/dealing process)

art1188,
well you polish your car as needed, if you can keep a swirl free finish you will not have to polish/correct your paint.
Proper washing techniques should enable you to prolong your nice finish.
I have been told by many in your neck of the woods that they get 3-5 months protection from Glanz.
Apply it on the car in nice thin coats then let it set for 15 minutes them buff off. You need Glanz to set up.
HI Phil,
First off you do incredible work.
Could you tell what you use inside your bucket to keep the wash mit off the bottom of the bucket? I found something called grit guard, online. It seems ok just not that that tall. I was really looking for something like 4 inches tall. The grit guard is only 2.
Also do u need a pressure washer to use the foam gun properly?
Thank You
Tom
You know he only frontin cause he have too and I ain't driving close.. I'm driving past you...

Hey Phil,
I have the following adams products: car wash, revive polish and buttery wax, detail spray.
I understand I should do full wash, polish, wax a couple to few times a year. What should be done in between besides wash? Do I just wash and polish or just wash? Of course I would also be using the detail spray.

I would just wash and wax if you are in between the big details.
I recently bought a C4 Corvette, and the entire body is fiberglass. Any precautions I need to take before buffing it? or should i treat it like a plastic bumper on a regular car [turn speed down]?
Is there a product specifically meant for cleaning the headliners in cars? I have heard recommendations to leave it alone and just spot clean it, but what would i do/use if I wanted to clean/shampoo it?
This might sound strange, but I was wondering if baby oil would be good/bad for my leather seats? I mean if it's good/safe enough for a new born......???? I may be way off base here, but how could it possibly hurt applying a small amount to a cloth and wiping on to the seats of my A4?

Baby oil will cause resoiling. It will turn gummie and pull soils and oils to it. Making you have to clean it with progressively harsher cleaners. On top of that the polyurethane protection layer is not designed to have large amounts of oils rubbed on it.
Get LM protection cream. It has a bit of soft cleaner, vital, and a protection base. It will do alot for one step cleaning.
Before I ask my q, just want to say that your cust svc is second to none, just amazing!
My question is: Are 1Z Detail Spray ("Lack Finish") and 1Z Spray wax ("Spruh Wax") two different products or are they the same thing? I have have the Lack Finish, like it and am considering buying the Spruh Wax in addition (as a quickie wax product for use when time is short, and weather is colder).
Your thoughts? fwiw, on the DD site, when I click on the 1Z spray wax item, it shows a pic of the Lack Finish bottle, hence my question. Thx.
