Judgmental? You made a post on a forum telling people what car you have and what wheels you want and you dont expect people to give you an opinion?

Talking smack? Im telling you my opinion is they will look horrible. Then again, I dont think any chrome wheels belong on an Audi. The black might look ok but I cant see that style wheel looking good on an S8.

411... If you don't want my opinion or anyone else's, don't post in a forum.

    Re: New S8 Owner

You say it your self ,You do not KNOW how the black ones look on a Black S8.But you say you don't like it.How is that make sense,do you care to explain the logic behind your toughts?Or is it simply because you made up your mind??

I never said i do not want to hear opinions from my fellow forum members,i would understand that if i posted pics of them on my car,and you say you do not like it.But if you say it your self that, you have not seen black dalars on a black audis s8,you can not make that statement. It's kinda unfair.

And you say you do not like any chrome on an Audi?Do you even know how many chrome pieces there are on a S8?

    And btw,bro.
I'm not talking smack, just simply replying to your posts, and stating my opinion,as you said, these are the Forums,i can do that right?

Let me break this down for you since you seem a little slow.
Do you think Giovanna makes the only thin spoke 5 star on the market?
There are hundreds of wheels that look almost identical and I have
seen this style on an S8/A8 body. It is not unfair to state my opinion.
I do not like those wheel so I would not like them on a S8/A8.
If you like them, go ahead and buy them.

I dont like chrome wheels on Audis, dont take my words out of context.

I never said you were "talking smack", "bro".
You might want to pay attention to what you type...
and I quote "How do you knwhow it looks like n an S8?You just like to talk smack?is that what it is?"
You are the one who claimed I was talking smack when I was only stating my opinion.

    Re: New S8 Owner

I have to agree and say that I don't think this style of wheel will improve the look of an A8/S8. Maybe look at some 19" MTM or some other appropriate rim for that car.

PLEASE stay away from cheap or low-quality replicas. The S8 is a heavy car with a lot of power and a poorly made wheel has a high chance of a failure under these stressful conditions, which is both dangerous and costly.

Also, please get the appropriately rated tire. You will need a 104+ load range on there...

I agree, I have seen quite a few D2/D3 owners purchasing wheels with inappropriate load ratings. To go along with Rich's comments, the 21" Bimoto MTM wheel would be a great wheel for that car. Albeit 41lbs, however it's design will still compliment the car's lines quite nicely imho. Gonna cost quite a bit more than those knock off LM reps go for though...

^Thats a great wheel and its more complimentary to the lines of the A8/S8

If you like black you might want to go with something like this...

    or these

    Re: New S8 Owner

I think the 21" would be perfect for a D3 chassis, but the D2 isn't quite as capable of handling large wheels. The MTM Bimoto is 21x10,5, which is REALLY wide. If the fender wells aren't cavernous, they just don't work...

We've got some (Bimoto 21's) sitting in customs and will be mounting them on Monday (on a Phaeton). I'll post some photos...

    Re: New S8 Owner

S8 needs some really good wheels. MTM's wheel, Sportec, OZ. 5 spoke dont really do it.

Here are the MTM wheels on a Phaeton. The same wheel/tire combination would be used on the S8.
