    B7 Door panel removal

    Hey guys,
I'm trying to remove one of the front door panels.
So far, I removed the 4 screws behind the trim and a 5th screw at the bottom.

After that, just pull out and push up?
Is that it? I just want to make sure before I break anything.
    TIA

Yes, just get your fingers or something slim between the actual door and the door panel (I think I did this at the bottom of the door panel) and pull sharply. You will probably break a few of the clips that hold the door on in the process, so have a few replacements handy. Then you just lift the panel up and over the lip at the bottom of the window glass. Make sure you have disconnected the door handle cable and all electrical connections before completely removing the panel.

Your instructions are correct for the front passanger side door panel. Forgot to mention I was removing the driver side panel.

As for the driver side, there are 2 more screws right behind the handle. Just gotta remove the cover. So it'd be 5 screws on the front/right panel and 7 on the front/left.

Once all screws are removed, pull from under and push up. EZ.

Hopefully this helps a fellow B7 member in the future

    Hey,

A little ot but I was wondering if there is a way just to remove the bottom panel of the driver side door (ie. ie the area that has the trunk and gas cap buttons).

    TIA!
