The Audi has been in the shop (www.DreamWerks.com) for about a week and a half now getting a bit of a facelift and I thought I would give an update on its current progress.
This is what it looked like earlier today:
Even though it's all torn apart, I borrowed it for the day because I needed to do a few things to it. So off we went down to my native land of Tacoma to go play at my friend Mike's house.
Do you like my new roller skates? hahaha
After we were done with that, I swapped on the wheels I really went down there for:
Say goodbye to the HRE's kids, I sold them.
But I'm getting new ones very soon.
"THIS CAR IS NOT STOLEN" hahaha
Okay, back to DreamWerks to get everything finished! More pictures soon.
I like them a lot also, but they're just too damn big. My car looks like a rollerskate with them on. If those wheels came in 19's I would have a set on order right now.
Smoked the tails and the sidemarkers. Not a lot of tint, just enough to tell they're smoked. I didn't want them very dark, I just wanted to bring the hue down a few notches so the bright red tail lights didn't stand out against the dark red Amulet.
Forgot to get pics when I was in the paintbooth though!
Here's the progress on the front bumper:
And here's the rear bumper at the moment:
Notice anything different?
Also, I said bye-bye to the HRE's today. Shipped them out via UPS and they are off to their new owner. Keep your eyes on the B6 S4 forum for their new home...

make yourself a FMIC kit while you got that front bumper off... just a thought, check out my threads, i posted a DIY for a cheaper route to a 1.8T FMIC. Its gonna look clean once youre finished up in the paintbooth.
The front bumper will look really nice when painted! The opens will be a great size now

ahh, my bad, i kept looking at the picture and I remember when I had my kerscher bumper off the car ready to be prepped and painted it looked just like that. the primer on your oem bumper threw me off.

solid work. i've wanted to do the shaved and non-exhaust cutout for my stock rear as well, but never got around to spending the money on it.
for the money you're going to spend on your front bumper i would have thought you would go for a different look. i won't pass judgment until i see it though. for being original on the b6 boards though!
I don't know what you're talking about, Canadian DRLs are the foglights which are always on when the hadlights are off.
Ah, I thought that was the Canadian setting. There's also a DRL setting that turns the high beams on at 50% wattage, which is the one I want.

I really like the look of the stock front bumper, and I like how it doesn't hang super low like the USP and pretty much all the other aftermarket front ends. It doesn't scrape much, which is helpful since my car is lowered so much. That's just a progress shot too, there will be a few other little things done to change the look of it.
And now I'm off to DreamWerks again to check on her and do some more work.
