wow. might be joining the a3 scene soon, and after looking through alot of this thread its definitely making me want to switch over even more...and this is coming from a b5 s4 owner

Make sure you do your homework. Stear clear of the FSI engine if you can!

Quite a few. Mine is an '06 and it seems like there has always been something wrong with it. Biggest of course it the cam follower issue (which can lead to HPFP and intake cam failure), but that is covered under an extended warranty. I just got an extended warranty letter for the PCV and the motor inside the intake manifold, and there is a timing belt instead of chain like on the TSI. There are a few more problems that I can't think of off the top of my head, but I'm sure if you just look around these forums a little bit you'll find out enough information to help make your decision

I feel ya hah I've thought long and hard about selling mine and picking up a C6 A6 w/ 4.2. Something about that big classy A6 with a v8 does it for me

Finally got the spacers on and washed all at the same time.
H&R sport cup kit
Ti reps 18x8 with 10mm spacers rear.
225/40/18 Kumho Ecsta 4x.
Rest of the mods in signature.
Future mods: S3 front mount and Revo tune.

Last nite, the potholes of MD and DC finally got me



But I guess it was a sign to finally mount these up... the real Q3 lol. If anyone has a good deal on coil overs or sport suspension, I'm looking.

I love the S3 front bumper and side skirts. Curious as to what your suspension specs and wheel/tire specs are now compared to what they were when you had the BBS wheels. TIA

Haven't posted here in a while. More low in the back now and with the Forge DV, no more boost issues. Might add spacers for more poke. If only this were my daily vs. the wife's LOL!
