yea, early us b5 avants had the spacing for a euro plate(1998-1999.0 to be specific)


BTW, I am looking to buy the seat back for the drivers side rear seat from a b5 1.8t with black leatherette.

you can get the square euro plate for newer avants...but it will be covered by the US state plate

Europrice sells euro b5 avant taillights for $250. I want a set, but i have no need and dont have the money to do it since my taillights work fine, for now.

edit: it appears they are now only $225. that is so damn tempting!

edit2: well i guess it depends on what part of the site you look at. in some places it is $225 and others it is $250

they have alot of them and for about 100 euros($140 usd), so im sure you could get a set shipped to the states for a reasonable price.

I have upgrade my suspension to coilovers so these custom spacers I had made are available.

Since a shock/spring combination cannot be adjusted these spacers were used to lift the rear of my Avant exactly 1/4"

They come with the modified upper spring seat perch and they sit between the perch and the body of your car. With the weight of the car on top and the spring pushing down from below they don't move at all. I had them in my car for over 45,000 miles.
