Another Casa B5 S4 in the PDX area? I know the above wasn't me, mine hasn't left my garage in months, but I didn't know there were more casa sedans around. I know of a couple casa avants, but have yet to see another casa S4.
Were you on I-5s this morning near Wilsonville/the 205 interchange around 8:15am?
Saw a dark blue (forgot proper name) B5 S4 lowered with rims downtown this morning on 2nd street. I was in my silver b5 S4. You passed me as I was stopping because a lady in a PT cruiser was going the wrong way down the street!
lol indeed....after spending the last 9 yrs on the east coast I am doing a lot of lol-ing at people in my office today. :) One lady who loves my S5 came to me this morning, "do you have chains and/or traction devices on your car, missy?!?" She had no idea that most Audis have AWD, or that I had snow tires on the car. Tee hee.
Every time I see an Ibis wagon (which isn't often) I do look for the purple wheels right away, haha. If you or wifey ever see a lowered grey S5 w/ exhaust, on RS4 reps for the winter, wave hello! I should have my custom Crater Lake plates soon too, I just got my approval letter....CUPCKE. Or a Volcano Black B5 Avant w/ PA plates SRSLY.
I spent most of my life in SoCal, and even I'm amazed at how much people overreact to snow here. It's not rocket science. Especially for those of us in the Quattro+snow tires club.
I'll keep an eye out for your cars - but I tend to stare down just about every Audi I see on the road anyways, especially if it's modded. Love the custom plates though. We were thinking of getting "UNICRN" for ours, but I hate how the custom plates are printed instead of stamped. So we went with the Pacific Wonderland plates instead.
Ahh, I like that one, it fits the car well. So even the tree plates are printed if you get custom? I had custom on my old 2-door Jetta (JTA CPE) when I lived here before the east coast and they were stamped.
You want some custom plate fun? I had FYYFF on my B5 in VA, before DMVs started catching on to intarwebz lingo, hehehehe. I was subsequently denied when I moved to PA.
I don't remember if the trees are printed or stamped. But the tree plates are kinda boring IMO. We wanted something different. We tried to get AVNT FTW on the old Avant in CA before we moved and were denied. DMVs are dumb.
Saw another chick in an S5 at lunch today at Lower Boones Ferry/I-5...hers was black, also had exhaust. I'm not the only girl runnin around town in a nice S
tankdeer, do you or wifey ever venture out on 43N weekday mornings for any reason? Saw a white B7 Avant w/ dark wheels today, I was headed south so I didn't catch if they were purple or if it was a Ti Avant.
Also caught a nice clean red (Laser?) B5 A4 Avant, tinted & debaged, coming off the Sellwood Bridge on the west side yesterday afternoon as I was getting on to cross to SE.

Wasn't us. Wife is out of town until this evening and I haven't left the house all day. Last I checked the Avant was still sleeping peacefully in the garage.
PS: I didn't realize that you were a girl. Speaking of which though, doesn't that Stephanie girl that owns the Rotiform S5 live in PDX? (don't remember her full name)
Jeremy - I still have the B5. Currently back on K03, used to have a GT20 but it blew from a failed oil pump a few yrs back.
That car needs a LOT of love and I'd like you guys to take a peek at it some time when I can snag a day off work. It's a long story what that car's been through... I'd love to build the motor again myself, but I just don't have the space or the means in my garage. It's running like complete shite at the moment, barely was able to drive it 3 blocks home without stalling when it came off the transporter from PA a week and a half ago. Interesting, as I left it at the (now-ex-)bf's house in fine running order 4 mos ago. I've left it sitting for longer periods of time than that and have it fire right up and run like a champ.
Then maybe down the line we can talk s/c for the S.
tank - no clue who that is. Didn't look like Rotiform wheels on the S I saw, then again it is winter and some of us change up for the season. This car had nice wheels regardless, some grey-ish looking five spokes....*almost* looked like the rotor-arm S5/RS5 titanium wheels, but they weren't.

I'll send you a PM about it.
Sorry to hear it may have been sabotaged. Although it could be something simple that failed on it's own somehow...maybe even possibly a rodent got in there and chewed something apart? We've seen it before honestly.
We have a few s/c options for the S. I always love chatting about that!
PS--Which color is the "Rotiform" S5 and which Roti's is it wearing?
I've seen pictures of that car before, had no idea it was local. Cool. Though I might be in the minority here, I really cannot stand "bagged" cars. I think it looks effing ridiculous.
Jeremy - nice talking with you today, glad you guys were still open when I decided to stop by on the way from work. Thank you for taking the time at the end of your day to give me some options for both cars. I'll buzz you when I have time to get the Avant towed up. I doubt it was sabotaged, but it's still suspicious.

It was great meeting you Molly. Thanks for stopping in. You're very welcome as always.
Sounds great. We'll get it sorted.
PS--Richard from TTS just emailed with more info...
Ooh, cool. I'm sure you will keep me updated on further developments. And hey, not the end of the world if we determine down the road that kit will not be feasible for my car. I would rather have a little less power with APR or JHM than a V8 paperweight.
Had a friendly run with an grey allroad on I-84 west. Watched him behind me in the left lane as he turned on his side markers, then his xenon lights, then his fogs. Came up next to me at the 205 interchange. Dark tinted windows and a box on top. Ran side by side until I went south and he went north. Beautiful car.

Sounds like my old Allroad. Kind of a slate grey?(Pewter it's called)
