Not to take away from Lowrider's idea of tape and a heat gun, but I will say that I painted mine matte black with regular paint and then drove from Washington to California the next day and the grille was chipped up like crazy. Assuming this might happen, I brought with me a can of "black plasti-dip" spray and Sprayed the grille with 2 coats of that before driving back... It's been like 1 month and not 1 chip and it has an OEM finish.
Roman, i used Dietrich (German manufacturer) front bumber. LLTek is not that known around here in Finland. I heard that Dietrich doesn´t manufacture those bumbers anymore.

that red a6 is my "hero", super clean, loving black trim around the windows and trunk, also nice rear bumper, the front bumper pieces look really sick molded onto rear bumper!

Kievskiy, i don´t know Ville personally. I can tell you that mine doesn´t rub at all unless you turn your steeringwheel full to the side and drive into big pothole..
So far i haven´t seen Ville´s ride live (not too many else has, he just got it finished), but i hope i´ll meet up with him at some Finnish cruise events this summer... I´d love to get some pix with black and red A6 together =)
I try to get him into KalisConcept DVD´s... next up is vol. 5!!

it just sucks because with quattro and our big calipers have to really watch out what you buy; with galant I had 17's that rubbed in the back when there were 3 people there - it was fun though
I like those european setups with those nice 17-18 wheels and cars on the ground, that's the way to go
on the other hand, I have already done the whole control arm upgrade (from PureMS), and it is VERY nice, so even if I go with 20 later on I won't have to worry
I'd like to just have 1 NICE summer set in 17-19 (like HRE or DPE or something like Amish's setup) and a set of winter wheels/tires, but if I do go stage 3 by end of summer, I doubt I will drive my Six in winter (often that is )
^ hold on, hahaha, i was refering to the winter tires, Hankook iPike W409, i used then when i went to Tahoe for the New Years, they hold like crazy in snow and ice! Rubber is really soft, i recommend them for sure.
Track tires are Falken azenis rt615, loving it.
Everyday: front Hankook Ventus Sport K104,
i like them,
and rears are Bridgestone.

Did he just paint the chrome trim aruond the windows edges or replace it with black?
I hate the chrome trim on the sides and want to make it black. I am curious if there are after markets replacement trim in different colors.

true, rubbing depends so much on the tire width..! right now i'm running my car on 20x8.5 fr and 20x9.5 rear and the tyres rubbed a little bit on uneven road. oh well, i can't be bother to change the rear tyres.
