So took the avant to Vernon/Kelowna for the holidays. Had a great time but the car took a bit of a beating. Left Calgary with a perfect windshield and returned with 4 big rock chips and a 6 " crack. The Rogers pass was seriously sketchy and a bit scary but needless to say came home basically unscathed. Luckily the windshield took the brunt of the abuse. Never had my car this dirty in my life......





Spent $15 today trying to clean her up a bit. There was so much mud and dirt in the wheels that even after that, I drove home and the car was shaking like crazy. Realized when I got home that I missed a bunch of spots on the wheels causing the wheels to be unbalanced. Oh well.

Just back from the tint shop. 50% LLumar all around on tan interior. -30C today, -45C with wind chill.


1.8t Tip, APR +1, H&R springs.

I found a similar one or same one on CL not too long ago and called the seller, and he told me it's just sold for $9000.

That's the one. Bought it in early December. Almost bought a silver 02 v6 from Vancouver, then this one showed up.
It's a great car, soooo much fun. It's my daily driver, family hauler.
No big plans. I'm happy with the power as it is, apr 93 with bigger injectors.
I just bought some seats for it, also from Vancouver, as the driver's seat was cracked and the new seats are... new.
Maybe some different 18"s if something nice shows up at a decent price.
I'll be doing the trans recode in a few weeks too.

very nice, trying to find a B6 avant 1.8T Quattro in automatic. But there are not too many available.

Nice... that is pretty rare. Most of the Audi's I saw around London didn't have sun/moonroofs. Maybe bc their cars cost a whole lot more than what we pay for them here in the USA.
