    Re: Debadging mishap

Debadging should actually only take 15-20 minutes entirely. What's your method? FWIW I use a blow dryer, QD spray, plastic putty knife, 3M adhesive remover, paint polish, and topcoat. (On my Audi the last two were Poorboy's products - Professional Polish and EX.)

This is a guess without actually seeing it, but I think you'll be okay. First get that adhesive off of there - a bit of hot air, some Goo Gone, WD-40, or 3M adhesive remover. Do you have any polishes? If not, try Scratch X from Meguiar's - it can be found just about anywhere and is pretty decent stuff. Work it in with pressure and speed to break it down. It may take a few passes, but you should see some progress. Follow up with your favorite wax/sealant for protection. Good luck!

    Re: Debadging mishap

To Debadge my ride took about 10 min. I used a hair dryer, fishing wire, and some "GooGone" so simple...and no way for a tool to scratch the car. Just remember don't heat it too hot.
