New RS4 owner
Hey everyone. I am trading in my CTS-V and Trailblazer SS to get an RS4. I am going to pick up the car in a few days. It is spirit blue/ebony w/ premium package. I had a couple quick questions, after reading through the forum.
1. What is everyone's concensus on the exhaust, does Milltek make the best choice so far? Has anyone gotten a Magnaflow?
2. Is PES the only one doing tuning, whats the turn around time?
3. Does anyone know of a shop around Charlotte that is familiar with Audi's?
Thanks guys.

Re: New RS4 owner
I don't have a RS4 but besides intake(I think), exhaust and suspension, there isn't much tuning going on for it yet.

Milltek is a good set up, I don't think you will be disapointed with the full system if you got it, There is someone over on AW that has the magnaflow, but really I haven't heard a bad system on the S4 and couldn't imagine the Rs4 sounding that much different. So far I have only seen Pes with a chip out, I would wait a bit for more to come out but I think PES worked with GIAC on the chip so maybe GIAC has theirs or the same out.
Present:
09 TTS EPL Tuned, Milltek exhaust
04 Allroad 6-Speed EPL Tuned
Gone:
04 S4 GIAC Tuned 02 A4 APR 2+

1. I don't know about everyone's consesus, but in my humble opinion the Milltek system is top notch. Magna Flow's system sounds different and is supposedly just as good, you'll have choose one, I'd go for the Milltek. Search for some video clips etc. its hard to explain unless you hear them.
2. Research is your friend here. Find someone that can work with you locally, so that its not to far to drive back and forth.
3. Sorry I can't help you out on this one. Search your local forums and check out Audiworld.

Magnaflow has sound files of their exhaust on their website:
