Re: OFFICIAL: Canadian Chatterbox Thread
I'm in for next year for sure.
So I'm driving a Jetta 2.5 for now as Agincourt had my whole car today and never got around to replacing the ballast/light/what not but was able to tinker around with the wiring and now the right light doesn't power up. They only had the car for 10 hours?!?!?

Electrical is always a pain.
It was the last step in the life of our van. It had some electical problems and that thing was in and out of the dealership. GM is replacing it now.

I already miss the quattro. Took off a little too aggressively for a FWD and got my neighbour's attention as he was getting mail. Whoops :)

Its amazing how quickly it is missed when you're driving in the winter. Been having a blast up here in the snow covered roads

There yesterday of course. Today at Blue. Wow, I never seen great snow conditions like today at Blue, ever. Everything but the wind off the lake but it brought a lot of snow down throughout today.

Re: OFFICIAL: Canadian Chatterbox Thread
Yeah it snowed all day, but man was it cold. Wed this week was the best, snowed overnight and left us with 1/2 - 3/4 a foot of fresh light powder. This season has been good, constantly getting snow up there.
Autoshow worth it?

Anyone go to the bike show last weekend? It was kinda small, but then again I haven't been to it in the past few years. Bought a thomson seatpost from Cycle solutions for my bike and it is too big, doesn't fit in the frame, DOH!

How does it not fit your frame, your bike is HUGE
I'd like to go to the show one year, but always at work skiing.

Re: OFFICIAL: Canadian Chatterbox Thread
lol, my bike requires a 30.9 mm seatpost diameter (at least according to santacruz website) because i've been using a blackspire 27.2mm with a shim, so I thought might as well do it proper with a thomson....so I bought the thomson and it doesn't fit, well it goes in a quarter way, and then gets stuck! I'll need to do an exchange.
Oh yeah the Rocky Mountain booth was pretty sweet, the new Slayer SXC is awesome.

I seriously need to get back on the bike. I haven't touched it in years, though it definitely needs to get a good check.

Re: OFFICIAL: Canadian Chatterbox Thread
Last year buck, udderpowerr and I went on a few rides. buck and udderpowerr also hit up Blue a few times on their monster bikes. We'll for sure get some bike rides going this year.
Tanner you got to stop saying that and do it already...so quick from your place to Ravenshoe and so much other good biking.
Luke everything in here is Off Topic, just a random discussion thread.
Summer setup will be put on start of April most likely, once ski season is over with and I'm not driving north anymore

Good question... It's been in a box at my dads place since I got back from Whistler last summer!
I could check next time I'm there, but I'm sure you'll have an answer before then

Haha, in fact it was a 30.9mm post that I need. I just needed to cut down the post. Go figure!
BTW Ryan, I got the itch to build up an xc sled...

Yeah, gotta find a dealer who has the frame in stock..but I doubt it, they're probably still rolling out of Ellsworth's factory, or going into production.

Re: OFFICIAL: Canadian Chatterbox Thread
I don't know, I'd like to weigh it since it wasn't a stock setup, shop built it up as a team bike with specific parts they were interested in.
I did a nice 2 hour ride after skiing all morning, damn that was nice. Felt good to be back out on it.

Re: OFFICIAL: Canadian Chatterbox Thread
Best place to buy H&R springs?
Can't wait to get out biking this year, gonna go to blue at some point because now it's only 40(maybe less) minutes away. Took out the Kona for a little ride from my garage to my house (five minute walk) and damn I suck again haha, need to get back into the groove. Can't wait till I get that sore ass after the first couple of lengthy rides....
