Here's a big turbo video for ya. This is my buddies VR6 turbo jetta. It's painted now, but one of the rods broke so he's rebuilding the motor now. It's a 3.0L now though.

luvintheboost, your vids remind me of myself(drving habits) and my old Apr stage 3 setup. What have you topped it out at? Kinda hard to see in your vids, but i took mine up to 155mph like it was its job. When you combine a shotgun testpipe,carbonio intake, 2.8trans,gt28r and Aprs 104 oct file, its downright crazy.

With that being said,the s4 is loads of fun to.

BT is not the size of just the turbo.. it's the relation of the turbo size to the stock turbo size(ko3 or ko4). if the turbo is bigger than those then it is considered a BT

question.... how do you select APR files on their stage 3 kit.. i supposedly have 93/100/103 files.... 98.5 a4... i remember reading somewhere it was with the cruise control? And you do need to run HIGH octane gas to run the higher octane files no?.... im left running 91 or 92 octane on my 93 file because thats all I can find around here in lousey KC MO

^^^^ not a good idea to run lower octane than reccomended, you gonna fvck your car up. i would call apr and get a 91 program since you dont have 93 where you are

you can call apr and have them look up your ecu, it should be on file along with what programs you got

Im running SMIC (heatsoaked), old plugs and havent vagged the car at this point (Aka Its pretty slow compared to now)

Turbo is much louder from the cockpit and outside, really sounds like a nasty snake, SICK ! i love it, even after all the bullshit. The turbo spool actually overcomes the milltek exhaust sound

As much as I hate to say this you got very lucky. A Gt on the bottle would have no problem smoking you, with a decent set-up. Didn't watch the trans-am video or anything.
