Hey guys,

So about two weeks ago CEL came on and it was for low boost pressure so I went to the shop replaced the boost pressure control valve since the turbo recirculation valve was replaced with the updated part 5k miles ago. They did a smoke test and did not find any external leaks. What do I do from here? Its not the turbo cut-off valve, boost pressure control valve or an external leak

Also the shop I went to gave me these numbers if it helps. Specified 2300 and actual boost=1780mBAR. My car is a 06 A4 with 47000miles.

Thanks in advance.

Hi all and thank you for reading this.

Hi all and thank you for reading this.

In short driver side windows do not work (front and back), while passenger side windows work fine.

Longer story:

I was involved in an accident where a car side swiped my driver side and my car had to go to the body shop for the left fender, driver door and rear door panels. Once I got it back (aside from a terrible paint job) everything seemed to work fine.

Over the weekend (like a fool) I left my fog lights on and it completely drained my battery. After jumping the car everything seemed to be fine until I realized I was unable to open the aforementioned windows.

Here are some of the things I tried:
1. I checked the fuses but it states that a fuse controls front windows and back windows (I swapped them to check but the problem persists)
2. Holding the key in the door in the unlocked position will unlock passenger side windows but not the driver side
3. In VAG-COM, when I press the buttons I can see that the signal is sent (auto/manual open/close) to the right window
4. When I click on the open the window nothing is heard, but when I click to close it, you can hear a sound like it's trying to close it but it's already closed
5. Had tons of codes when the battery failed, but after clearing them none have returned as of yet (only did this 30 min ago).

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Stevan

ps. Should have mentioned that my car is 2007 A4 2.0T S-Line Titanium Quattro

This is the code and description from OBD. The Check engine light appeared after about 85-95 miles after we changed the Purge Valve.
I've seen Large and small leak related errors in the past. Does micro just mean small leak?

So long story short. I bought my car and the previous owner had a RNS-E installed after he bought it. He also had a DVD, CD, MP3, TV Tuner installed in the glove box. I have never been able to get the DVD player in the glove box to work. I really don't care to get it to work either, if it works it works if not whatever. Fast forward a little bit. I made my "Backup DVD" and for some reason it wouldn't work in my car. So having access to a couple different cars with RNS-Es in them (All B7'S) I pop my "Backup DVD into these cars and what do you know the units update to the newest 0260 software with the 2011-2012 Maps.
So i was successful with burning the 2011-2012 Nav Map Disc SW0260[;)]

I started looking into this a little more and posted into this tread: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...g-firmware-260

One of the members pointed out that i have a European RNS-E via the PN.

Address 37: Navigation Labels: 8E0-035-192-RNSE.lbl
Part No SW: 8E0 035 192 C HW: 8E0 035 192 C
Component: RNS-E US3 H54 X---
Revision: 00S Serial number: 0UZBZ0E0400000
Coding: 0301215
Shop #: WSC 06325 000 00000
VCID: 244DF249E4C0DE9

I messaged the previous owner of the car and he confirmed that the unit was not bought from the dealer that he purchased the unit from someone on a Audi forum. At this point i can clearly see where the differences are in my unit compared to the other 3 that i already updated. Here is the big twist:

Take a look at the software version. Now here is the other twist. Everything works in the unit but only with the Burnt DVD that came in the car. This is where i am at a loss as to what i need to do. I have all of these backed up copies of the latest greatest Map/SW Discs because i thought i was burning the disc wrong and they all work and i cant use a single one. [;)]

In the other thread you will see i have already tried to force a update but that didn't work. My next step is this: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...to-USA-version

Can anyone confirm that I am heading in the right direction or give your educated input.

I recently purchased a B7 A4 Quattro. The problem is the gears are not where they should be. Meaning the reverse is where 1st gear typically is and does not require pushing down on the shifter. And all the rest of the gears are shifted over to the right. As result 5th and 6th gear are way far on the right and there is not a lot of space between the all the gears.

The clutch was replaced 2K before I purchased the vehicle. Apparently mechanic that installed the clutch did not put back together the gearbox correctly? The car drives just fine and I'm already used to the new gear locations, but I would like to fix this if possible.

Can anyone provide input on what actually is the problem and if its an easy fix?

I bought my Audi A4 2007 with a single key, and have been fine so far. I need a spare key, and I've read a few posts that it could cost me about $350 at the dealership.

Any easier/cheaper way to make a spare key?
