19x8.5 ET43 RS4 style wheel

First off I am posting in here instead of the classifieds because I do not have permission yet. I have been on here for almost a year but never posted, just doing research.

I have acquired a 19x8.5 ET 43 RS4 style wheel and I'm posting to see if there is any interest. It is an OEM wheel with a part number on it of 8K0 601 025 AA. I referenced the number and according to ETKA it comes OE on a B8 A4/S4. It will still fit earlier models. It does have some curb rash that has been sanded down and is ready for repair. It is NOT bent nor cracked. The tire I dismounted off of it was still holding pressure. I can post pictures if requested.

My 2006 25quattro is making random (every 10-30 seconds apart), subtle beeping noises... It sounds like it's coming from the stereo system (RSN-E) and does it even if the key is out of the ignition. Anyone know what the heck this is?

Power Steering Pump Banjo Bolt Size

Anyone know the size of the banjo bolt that connects the pressure hose to the pump? I have to fab a tool to get in there to tighten it and fix a leak, and want to be sure of the size of the bolt before I spend the time making tools.

H&R Street Coil over Owners Chime In

I am installing a set of H&R Streets in my car this weekend. From what I have searched and found is people reference fender to floor measurement when providing ride height. But I wanted to get a measurement of how far low the perch is set before it bottoms out. If any can provide a picture with height reference it would be of great help. Oh and I looked in the suspension thread already.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have a B7 S4 manual with low compression on 2 cylinders. Body and interior are 9/10. So what's it worth?

Serious answers please. I have had a few offers on it but but not sure if I should accept or ask for more.

Car is actually located in Northern VA if anyone's interested.

RED Courtesy Door Lights Not Working

Hi all,

I�ve just noticed today as I was changing out my Xenon globes with new 6000k ones that the RED courtesy lights on my drivers side are not working.

The puddle lights are fine and all is good on the passenger side, just the DS seems to be affected.

I�ve looked at the fuse box and apart from 2 x still functioning 15 Amp fuses labeled;

22) Door (Driver and Passenger)
23) Door (Left Rear/Right Rear)

I can find no other indication of where the error may be. I would figure it may just be a globe if it was one door, but both has me perplexed?

Any help would be appreciated...

Any word on long term FCP control arm users for quality?

Im about to order a control arm set and the price FCP has is almost too good. Will these be at least as good as the factory control arms? Im not going to ever track my car and not lowering it other then the B5 perches on the front.

Hood insulation... Is it necessary?

One corner of my hood insulation is peeling away and looks like crap, can I just take off the whole thing without worrying about heat transfer to the hood? (ie. paint)

Memory Seat doesn't remember fore & aft position

Help Please!
I have tried moving the seat all the way back then all the way forward in an attempt to re-learn position but it didn't work. No faults in the Memory Seat module. I tried clearing and re-learning the position. The tilt, seat back & mirrors work fine but no fore & aft movement from the seat bottom. It seems to work fine using easy entry but if I move it out of position then try to re-call the seat using the memory button, everything seems to go into position except the fore & aft position.
Is there a step by step procedure for re-learning or re-initializing this thing?
Any tests or suggestions are appreciated.

Cooling fan control module

Econ button is stuck on so I went to the dealership..got charged 150 bucks for them to look at it and tell me I needed a new cooling fan control module but that was only the second step of the process. Could be more than, anyone have a similar problem but got it fixed? I bought a used module off of a wrecked audi but haven't installed yet

I have never before seen carbon fiber trim, can't find that information online [yet]. The trim around the gearshift is thick and has a noticeable gap around the edge, it doesn't have a very OEM quality feel to it, but since I am a B7 nooblet I really have no point of reference!

How much does an X Pipe really do?

Hi, as I am fairly new to this car, I was looking at replacing my fuel filter and as I was under the car I noticed that mine doesn't have the X pipe. A bit of background, when I purchased it, it already had the Maganflow on, but i don't even know if I have piggies or just the mufflers....it's also all rusted so I can't really tell if it's original or not. But what I can tell obviously is that the pipes don't cross in the "middle". I was wondering exactly what an X Pipe does and how much they help with flow/sound/performance...
Couldn't find an answer from a search, just that a lot of people have them.
