In late 2005 AISIN/Audi moved their production plant to Belgium.
I canonly think about 2 reasons why they did it:
- RNS-E will be present only for few more years and will be replaced by MMI (A4 B8 platform)
- SDS technology is delivered by TEMIC which is located in Europe not Japan
