Hello all,

Now that Audifest West is behind us, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone involved - from the sponsors that helped us fund the event to all of my fellow Audi enthusiasts who joined us from far and wide. Each and every one of you helped to make the event a success, and a truly memorable night (and morning)!

The massive dinner buffet, dessert, and beer at Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas (http://www.hofbrauhauslasvegas.com) was simply great. Big thanks to Jane, Tony, Richard, Terry, and the entire HB staff for taking such great care of us. From the warm hospitality, to the amazing food, right on down to the spankings (there's some photo and video evidence out there somewhere of that craziness).

Thank you to fellow AZ'er Zendell (AKA: bOOOOstedAudi (http://www.audizine.com/forum/member.php/2298)) for hooking me up with a number of contacts in his hometown of Las Vegas, and for helping us hire the Audifest West ladies to assist us with check in, raffle tickets, shirts, goodie bags, and the like. Shouts out to Iza, Daniella, Regina, and Ro for their help dealing with us crazy group of Audi nerds and our significant others who were along for the wild ride!

Another special shout goes to Audizine member JT (AKA: jrtrainor (http://www.audizine.com/forum/member.php/75168)) and his better half Katrina for the use of their B7 A4 as package carrier. Without their generosity we would have had to entrust the likes of UPS or FedEx to get us a majority of the swag from Sonoma, CA to Las Vegas, NV. With their help we had everything we needed for Saturday, and all of the Audifest West guests went away with their promised bag of goodies.

The only real snafu of the night was regarding the meet-up after dinner. Unfortunately, I got out of Hofbräuhaus later than anticipated and so I wasn't able to properly verify exactly which of the two Hard Rock Hotel parking garages was ours for the ravaging. It was simply a bit of miscommunication and I take full blame for that one, of which I do apologize for. I might actually look into cloning myself sometime soon...

Still though, it all worked out in the end, and the get-together/raffle portion of the night was tons of fun. We had some great prizes to give away, and they all went to very good homes! Thanks to 034Motorsport (http://www.034motorsport.com), adam's rotors (http://www.adamsrotors.com), AMI Motorsports (http://www.amimotorsports.com), AWE Tuning (http://www.awe-tuning.com), Detailer's Domain (http://www.detailersdomain.com), Eurocode Tuning (http://www.ecodetuning.com), Europrice (http://www.europrice.us), HRE Performance Wheels (http://www.hrewheels.com), JHMotorsports (http://www.jhmotorsports.com), MJM Autohaus (http://www.mjmautohaus.com), Skullcandy (http://www.skullcandy.com), STaSIS Engineering (http://www.stasisengineering.com), Tire Rack (http://www.tirerack.com), and Unitronic (http://www.unitronic-chipped.com) for the amazing prizes! And of course, congrats to all of the winners, of which there are just too many to name!

And that brings us to the final part of our night, where Kyle at Vanity Nightclub (http://www.vanitylv.com) took excellent care of those of us still standing after a long day in the hot Vegas sun. Since the dinner at Hofbräuhaus got pushed back later than originally anticipated, that means the get together and raffle went way late, and in turn it pushed our afterparty at Vanity well into the early morning hours. Yet, Kyle still made sure he had a table waiting for us and the lovely server was promptly on hand to see to it that a great time was had by everyone there. Special shout to both my brother Jimmy and to David of Eurocode (http://www.ecodetuning.com) for going out of their way to ensure no one from the group went away thirsty!

Aside from Kyle I must also thank everyone else at the Hardrock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas (http://www.hardrockhotel.com) who took great care of us throughout the weekend. Most notably, Creecy, Rebecca, and Lewis.

Shouts also to Brandon at Wuste (http://www.wuste.com) for not only putting on the single biggest Volkswagen and Audi show in Sin City to begin with, but for making sure our Audizine members in attendance were eventually able to have their proper Group Parking location and able to head out of Saturday's show and shine a bit early in order to make it over to our Audifest party.

So to recap...thank you again to each and every sponsor involved with Audifest West 2012; for helping us throw such an extravagant party, providing cool items for the "swag bags", and excellent prizes for the raffle.

And of course, another shout to all of my fellow Audi enthusiasts who came out to party with us. Whether you made it to the dinner at Hofbräuhaus, the get together at The HRH parking garage, the afterparty at Vanity Nightclub, or all of the above, you made for one incredibly memorable time and I look forward to celebrating our passion with all of you again very soon.

Now, time to look forward as we prepare for Audifest East on July 21st in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the weekend of Waterfest 18 (http://www.waterfest.net). The fun and excitement shall now be shifted to the East Coast, in a totally different, yet equally epic way!

Cheers! [az]

Definetly was a great time even though I only made it to the HRH gathering. I look forward to the next event!
