hi guys, i'm new on this forum, and looking to find some answers....
i'm looking for an advice, before i start anything

i want to buy an audi a4 b5 - 2,7i / 2,8i v6 quattro or an audi a4 b6 3,0i v6 quattro and make some engine mods...
both models look very nice, so the shape is not a problem, the problem which model / engine do you guys suggest?
i want to mount 2 turbos on the engine, and of course to change the pistons / rods / camshafts / clutch / injectors / remap ecu / etc
what you guys suggest me to pick and what should i know about those b5 /b6 and theirs engines?

thanks in advance!

If you want 2 turbochargers, save yourself the trouble and get a B5 S4 with the 2.7T engine. Search that section and learn the routes people take when it comes to building their vehicle.

No. You would need custom pistons to twin turbo the 2.8 or 3.0. If you throw twin turbochargers on those blocks stock, you can't run much boost. And you can get a used B5 S4 for roughly $8,500. Modded ones that were maintained well sell for more.

Oh, just noticed you are in Romania. I guess things are more pricey over there. But here is a thread on Vortex where a person explained how he turbocharged the 2.8 block. Read page 2 where he says what is needed.

And here is an interesrting thing currently going on for the 2.8.

Single turbo on custom 2.8 NA engine would be a nice route (expensive). But if you are looking into doing an actual engine build, the B5 S4 is just a simpler platform to start off on. The 2.8 or 3.0 NA will take a lot of custom work both internally and for the turbo setup, because the market simply does not exist. It only exists for superchargers.
