Do you guys know if the caliper on a A6 2005 is the same size as the 2002 2.8 style. Please let me know. I need to put some wheels on one and want to know if IM going to have clearance issues.

Front brakes for the 05 A6:

3.2 FSI : 12.64in/321mm; 30mm thick
4.2 EFI : 13.66in/347mm; 30mm thick

The 01-04 A6 uses 12.64in/321mm rotors, but the offset is different between 2.7Ts and 4.2s, and they stopped using the Lucas four pad caliper in the past year or so.

The 2.8 used a smaller rotor, so I would think 02 wheels from a 2.8 may not clear the brakes on a 05 3.2.

That was great info man. So you think a 19 x 8.5 wheel with a 35 offset will clear the brake? Stock wheels are by 7 with a 48 offset. I think it will work

I dont think Brembo makes a brake big enough (that fits an Audi) to fill the gap of a 19" wheel. Sounds like you should be ok....
