I would appreciate if someone can tell me if these wheels would work for a RS4.

Thanks.

I don't see why they wouldn't They might be a bit wide but without the listed offset it is hard to tell.

I think that the R8 wheels are staggered and therefore wouldn't be a good wheel for the RS4.

They are staggered, not sure if the rears would fit on an RS4 or not though ...

If you're not a complete stickler for authenticity, Achtuning.com sells knock off R8 wheels by Hartmann. I run a set of 18 inch wheels for my winter setup (crappy cellphone pic of my dirty RS4 from last winter.)

IMO that style of wheel looks boring on the RS4.

I was at the dealer and visually inspected the wheels on a R8 on the showroom floor and you are correct. The setup is 235 for the front and 305 for the rear. I am guessing that the rear wheels are 19x10 or 19x10.5 which would probably cause clearance issue on a RS4.

Not to mention mess up the handling and possibly the diffs if you drive the car hard.

We have good quality Hartmann replicas in that style available in 18" and 19" :)

That photo shows them much better. Still not sure I like them that much, but to each their own.

why would staggering mess up the diff or not be good? as long as the rolling diameter is the same like height wise it has no affect on anything

You will never be able to get exactly the same rolling diameter. Some cars are designed for this and it is fine. The R8 is an example, a Porsche C4 or Turbo would be a good example too. They have specifically designed differential setups and have been tested. On a car like the RS4, you put larger wheels on the back, you will have several issues (none of which will manifest themselves on normal street driving). First off, you will understeer more unless you compensate for it elsewhere. You are giving the back wheels more grip then the front so the front. Secondly, a RS4 has a Torsen center differential which can accommodate up to 1% difference in rolling diameters. Other cars like the R8 or Porsches run Viscous center diffs which can take 5% or more difference.

Agreed.

Only looks good if you have big beefy brakes and nice calipers. Even then, I think the thin spokes don't match up with the car's proportions. I don't even like them on the R8, truth be told.
