wassup everyone...well i wanted to know what a good digital camera. i see that everyone takes a lot of pics and well i tried on the old school cameras...but damn...i think i gotta go digital~! so if you could help me out...that would be awesome...
i was lookin at the sony cybershot...DSC-T7...idk comes out next month...what do you guys think??

Canon definitely.
what do you want out of the camera? how much do you want to spend? do you want an SLR-style or a point-and-shoot?
The camera I use for a lot of my everyday stuff is a Canon PowerShot S70. I liked it because it was reasonably priced, took awesome pictures, I can mess with a lot of the settings, and I have 7.1 MP to play with. If you're looking for something more professional, there's really a world of possibilities.

Definatley go Canon.
I just about to get my third canon. Ease of use, and menus are set up very well. If you have the money go SLR. You will be glad you did. If not, there are still a bunch of cameras in all price ranges that will give you all the control you might want, and more. Go to canon's website and look at the sample images of all their cameras. Its not that hard to get an amazing shot out of these cameras. I love my 20D and wouldn't trade it for the world. Ive played with everything in their product range and have been happy with all of them. All the way from the 3.2mp on up to my 20D and once you know one, you know them all. If all you want is a point and shoot though. You can't beat their Elphs They take GREAT pictures, and they fit in your pocket! The only problem is that you loose some manual features. Anyway, good luck on your search, and feel free to ask any questions! Seriously though, getting the camera is only half the fun, once you start playing with Photoshop, and getting good at it. Thats when it really starts to get fun!
