I fixed it up and then it crapped out when i went to school. then i rolled with a 90 Camry through college, moved to Chicago and it got stolen after two years, then I was given my mom's old Volvo 740 station wagon, then we sold that, then i bought my buddies Mazda MX3, it got stolen outside a club, then i got a Nissan Maxima that I totaled when i was drunk, then i got my Audi last November. Thank god for insurance because i only paid $7k plus the insurance $$ from my maxima for my Audi. And i am 29.

Well, in my case...

Jetta - $10k (3 year loan)
A6 - 13K (3 year loan, insurance gave me more than what I paid origionally)
A4 - 16k (4 year loan -- Still paying on, have approx. 1 year left)

Not rollin in cash, but I'd rather drive a 6 year old audi, than a brand new escort.

yeah for real, so far i think i am the second oldest in this chain (29), you know what though, when i was in high school, i was pretty cool with my 82 rabbit diesel. It was gold, 5spd, i dropped the front end and raised the back end with spring clamps, had a sweet sound system, put a front spoiler on with fog lights and i ripped out my exhaust so it would be loud as f$$$. I was into VWs then. That said, times have changed and nowadays A4s are like the rabbits and the beetles and the golfs from our hayday. those of you that have A4s and you are in high school, you should feel pretty good about yourselves. just my .02. all i know is i love my a4 and i told my girlfriend that if it ever came down to it, i would choose my ride over her [;)] [a4]
