what type?

i'm trying to figure what type of audi it is
it's the one that looks like a squarded scirocco and the one audi used for rally and hill climb and my buddy says it's the 4ooo but he's not sure

I believe you're refferring to the S1 or Sport Quattro...

I'd guess it was a "Coup," or a "Quattro" aka UrCoup or UrQuattro.

there are 4 types:

Coupe GT
Coupe Quattro
URQuattro (5 cillinder turbo engine... sweeet)
Sportquattro (same as urquattro but with more hp... sweeeeeet)

Not coupes but two other audi classics worth mentioning.

90quattro: The early ones had the 20v inline 5 engines that could be pushed to over 500hp, some say 700hp, but I haven't seen any reviews to back that up.

200turbo quattro: You guessed it, The 20v inline 5 engine with turbo. These engines are magnificant.
