View Full Version : Power top problems!?!

I went to put my top up this evening, it got half way up and stopped. It moved a little back and forth but mostly just made an electronic buzzing noise and wouldn't buzz. I eventually just put it up and locked it manually. I haven't tried it yet, I will in the morning though. Anyone ever have this problem before?

Edit: This morning I tried it again and it went down and right back up.

Were you in an incline? These tops dont like them. Flat surface only for the most part. Its a very heavy top.

No I wasn't. I called and talked to the head mechanic at my dealership. He said it may have overheated, yesterday was pretty hot and my car has been in the sun all day and slow traffic for a little over an hour.
